I think the Pinot Noir is a DDR3 board. It is also said to be an NV chipset (790i) based platform. ROFL.
Just had my first random reboot in several days since going to the Rampage bios. The only change to the system is the addition of a X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty.
I've been searching but is it known to cause any problems like reboots?

tested over 100 different downloads to find it but i got it! (tested most of it at work :P)
so if you ever are looking for the engineering versions, you can test afudos in windows command prompt for the version with afudos /h
look for the (ES) and you got gold :D

There only a few thing you have to know :
- In the bios there is an 2nd LAN controller wich isn't on the board.
- You got the "light" options wich aren't on the board.
- LCD Poster options wich isn't on the board.
BUT !!! you got a hell of a lot options more to overclock the hell out of your board !!!
So in short ! P5E to Rampage --- Works !!!! (with 2.29ES afudos)

Well did the flash and it was successful. However, cpu-z and everest both report the mobo as the Formula when the Rampage is obviously loaded. Did I miss a step?
