easy elyrly, go up untill you find its limit. temps look good, so go for it.
It depends alot on how much you can push the FSB. You can check this by lowering the multiplier if you dont want to give it too much voltage. Anyway, my wild guess is 2.8-2.9GHz at best.

I have a question for all 865/875 + Dothan (or P4 2,4 NW) users:
Is there anyone who uses the 5:4 divider with a FSB of 300 ? That would give a memory speed of 240 Mhz.
I want to reach this speed but I don't know what modules to use... Currently I am running with 2 x 512MB BH-5 but my modules will not go over 270 FSB (mem @ 216) with any timings. They run at FSB 301 3:2 or 240 1:1 with 2-2-2-5 PAT perfectly.
BH-5 is the best for the 875P chipset to achieve low timings, but I think maybe newer DDR500 modules could do 300:240 with loose timings.
I have already tested with 2 x 512MB Mushkin XP4000 Redline but this memory craps completely on 875P.
Maybe Samsung modules do better, or Crucial Ballistix ? Hope you guys have some thoughts about this (old problem  )...
It is hard to run 300fsb+ on P4C800 :confused:Quote:

My 2x512 Bh5 can 245Mhz max in 16M, and 257MHz in 1M super PI (on A64 thay do 267 16M)
What is the best bios for the P4P800E-Deluxe? Should I use the P4P800SE bios?
if you want to be able to change multi in bios, the p4p800se bios is the way to go, otherwise, i think the normal P4P800-e bioses are the way to go.
Other then changing multi nothing changes?Quote:

When I look a the number of pins I can see it's a 478pins. Would it work without any adaptor like CT-479 on the asus board or do I have to buy that adaptor?
Thanks :toast:
