haha whats he doing running prime95. for 48 hours at 5.8ghz and 1.6v? LOL
he he i have a knack for finding weakness in a mb
1200w pcp&c psu which works fine and i dont use a case
pins are ok not burnt only 1.64v real, it did die when on dice thuo ...other chip same results
i have another one coming early next week, this way i can have 1 for not benching too.
don't think you are pushing +106 bclocks, 5.7Ghz and 2240CL7-7 rams during hours... it's strong board no problem with that and very good for 01 benching, but I prefer UD5 as it's far better bang for the buck...
leeg u r and assus lova what are you doing with a nice giga board :D
I have 3 here UD5/7 and UD3H. I love Gamers UD5 and PJ's Z68 UD3H (both very very good bang for the buck and solid solutions)
I even might give them an award ( if ever Dino accepts me on his facebook page :p ) Sadly there's no hyper love on the UD3H (but I can live with that)
Oh and I have to correct you on your quote :

that is a nice CPU, i need one of em
maybe you should try the Asus on this go around, they really did a good job this time:D
The R3E left a bad taste in mouth as well, unlike any of the Giga X58 boards ( UD3R, UD5, UD7), however Asus got their shi(f)t together for P67/Z68 (except for 01) and has very nice board. I do think that the bios on the UD7 is better for hyper based memory the the MIVE. The main thing I dislike about the UD7 is the llc is completely botched, I mean ten levels and still nothing works as it should:shrug:
Regardless I may pull it out of the box once I get some more cpu's, but as it sits it's just collecting dust, because it kills it in 01:up:
Passed 5651Mhz....Next, if it passed 5705Mhz then it is 57X or more:up:Quote:

how many volt can u get out with a correct vrm frequency?
Probly need more cold to open up:)
Thanks OC:up:
Yep, LLC10 work nicely @ >5.7ish:)
Thanks Sergio:)
Got this cold bugged L047XXXX chip max @ 5140Mhz. Bios 1.375Vcore LLC7. Linx tortured my SS instead of the chip:D...

sick cpu bud:woot:
you are torturing your ss, almost 15c:D
I see everybody is using 4gb ram. Anybody using 16gb that could give me some pointers? I have the Mushkin Enhanced Redline (4 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) 1.65v
Just got my board and chip friday so i am still learning this z68 (coming from x58).The mem was running fine using profile1 which sets it at 2133 1.65v 9-10-9-25 cr2. i backed it down to 1866 for now so i could concentrate on finding my max 24/7 cpu settings, then i'll come back for the memory. What voltages should i be playing with on this board for the cpu? (z68x ud7) Anybody using touch bios? Also what is dangerous as far as temp and cpu voltage for 24/7 use? If somebody knows of a good OC guide for the z68, that would help a lot too. not sure what cpu settings should be enabled and disabled. Disable c1e, c3/c6, EIST, Thermal Monitor, Bi Directional PROCHOT? TIA for the help. I really appreciate it.
