OR this.
See? It is already 20-80 ratio. I predicted 10-90 or more :D

Can't there be one thread about the 3 conroes that doesn't get filled with useless post, drowning out the actual results(that people really want to see)
:stick: Actually, actually:Quote:

wouldn't mb be millibit? :DQuote:

in other news, the conroe looks freakin awesome. i was GOING to look into an X2 in a few months, but now i may have to reconsider.
Awesome results there... can't wait for Conroe! Q3 2006 cant come quick enough!
Victor, can you please tell me/us what the max FSB in the BIOS is on that board? With such low multis on Conroes, I've been dying to know if the PLL chips have been replaced with faster ones....I know there's at least 500MHz PLLs are out there and was wondering if the new boards would step up with those to go along with the low multis ;) Thanks!
VICTOR,
you are becoming famous here in Israel (Home of the CONROE).

not really sure why everyones going so crazy over some SuperPi scores. We already knew based on Yonah that Conroe would own in SuperPi, and Merom already proved this. But what we should also all realise is that these SuperPi 1M scores are not very indicative of average performance increases. They are probably the strongest point for Conroe, so of course it owns everything in SuperPi. However there are also things it is weak at where the gains will not be very good at all. Don't be expecting Conroe to own everything just cause it does at SuperPi.
What happened to the Conroe @ 3.4ghz thread
This is true. As somebody pointed out to me, Conroe's adaptave cache means that one of the cores has access to all of the cache for single threaded apps, like superpi. Superpi likes cache. So, the 4MB cache certainly helped superpi an extraordinary amount.Quote:

I am afraid this is not possible, there've always been like this before and probably will be. For pure results threads must be locked. And I don't think moderators would spend time deleting 400 useless posts in one thread :)Quote:

How do you pronounce "conroe", does it sound as "conroy" or more like "conro"? We have an argument here :D
Impressive results. I cant wait to see if it works on the P5WD2-WS. If so, we will see the SPI1mb record broken w/o breaking a sweat. *Subscribes*
My guess is "conro" :banana:Quote:

That 4mb cache access would explain a deal, but makes perfect sense architectually why they would do that.
I'm just guessing Intel asked FCG/FUGGER to remove their own results?
eh, last I checked Yonahs werent going much over 3G, but don't think i've seen any Xtreme cooling on them yet. So far I'd say its way to early to expect good overclockability from this chip.Quote:
