You are correct there is not one....the 8pin is next to the ATX 24pin like the Expert :)

Why do you feel the need to quote every single image ??, is it lazyness ??, If you honestly dont know how to just quote the one image I apologies, but PLEASE, everyone who does this, please spare a thought for those ppl less fortunate who are stuck with dialup (BTW I have 1500/256)

I cant see myself ever buying TCCD again or ever using less than 2GB of memory, also with the change to DDR2 it all seems a little too late unless you have a burning desire to try and beat your old TCCD/BH-5 benchies :)

The price is high, but if any of you know anything about manufacturing costs a small run of a product costs a lot more than making a large run. Spreading fixed costs over a smaller number of units, retooling, etc. all adds up...

Maybe those boards are actually left over from a lower model and not a new run, a change of capacitors, some clever marketing and voila.....

If that was true, you would be able to flash the venus on the expert.

Also, the Venus has more PCB layer(i think).

I've been running the Venus bios in my Expert for some time now, no problems whatsoever.....

Are those of you with the Venus BIOS on the Expert noticing any gains? Is it even worth it? If so, what improvements are you seeing?

user over at OCAU is using this bios as well without issues

@ixtapalapaquetl..........s7 and OPB didn't do extensive comparing from what i've seen whether that's because they've got too much on their plate or something else :rolleyes: ....i think there was only one comment on TCCD running better which should be an incentive for you as you've had some troubles lately

one thing they did note is changed settings for DDS/DS

very informative. I might just flash my bios to the venus one!

the 329 beta bioses for all the boards have been brought up to the VEnus timings, so it isn't really necessary to venus flash it.
