why is your 32m pi time so huge ozzimark 36 minutes seems like its too long to me or am i wrong on this for 2250mhz???

Jaguar e-type specifications
yup, my clawhammer can't go much over 2.3ghz reliably, thus why the time is so slow... also factor in single channel.. sPI is very bandwidth sensitive :(
What memory is that ozzi?Quote:

ahh single channel will make a huge difference in the 32m calculation as that is very memory bandwidth intensive compared to 1m times.Quote:

Just orderd 2gb (2x1gb) Crucial Ballistix Tracer pc4000. I`ll try them on my MAX3 mobo.
SO I purchased a couple sticks of the 1GB crucial value micron stuff. I was able to play a few good hours of BF2 at 239mhz. However, I am still trying for SPI 32 M stability...
What drive strengths has everyone been using? So far I have tried 6,7,8 with a Data of 4. For me 8 seems to be the only quasi stable setting at higher FSB...
Anyone else come to a conclusion of the best drive strength for 2x 1GB?
Edit: Also, whats everyone's opinion on the Best BIOS for running Micron Memory? (I am talking DFI here...)
I have 2x 1gb of Crucial Tracer coming in later this week. That and a 7800GTX ;)

on the dfi nf3-250, i use drive strength of 3.. which is the highest odd number. it seems to hate the evens

if you're looking for cheap:

from that picture it's 5b D too :toast:
that's this stuff isn't it:

while we're on cheap ram, i might as well pimp the crucial value i'm using:

i'm currently working out the errors in memtest at 270mhz, 3-4-4
LOL !!
Well I wen't and droped almost $400 on the balstix, so all this "cheap" stuff better stink at OCing or else !!! :D
btw Vlad, the Rosewell are repackaged PQI looking at the pics of the chips. The Rosewell brand may just be Newegg's line of stuff. Never seen it anywere else.
actually, now that you say that, i'm pretty sure it is :toast:Quote:
