:bounce: ETA :bounce:
thanks ... look nice
No way we can blame bigtoe for starting this thread, i'm glad he did, very nice infos here and giving an ETA has nothing to do with him so blame Sapphire.Quote:

Word! As good as the Abit is, it still has bugs and it took a while for it to come out. Now Sapphire is taking its time to debug the board (hopefully) so us end users wont have too much of a headache overclocking. Instead of busy troubleshooting like people do on the DFI and to a much less extent the Abit, we can enjoy overclocking the damn thing.
i hope this new ati board would do 1T with Venice :)
Why should'nt it ??, most boards do now with Venice :)Quote:

Considering probably 9 out of 10 "overclockers" (here) use some sort of DFI board today, they must be doing something right... :hehe:Quote:

I want it baaaaaaad.
Can we please get this board on the market before the X2 is outdated... AMD is going to be next gen before this comes out....
Or are they waiting for R5xx???
And it looks like solder pads between the PCIs, similar to the DFI?
Its almost end of June.......... :stick: Hasn't Sapphire said anytin yet......... :slapass:
:slap: :slap: :slap:
Sapphire takes to long time...
Now i have ordered myself an AN8 Ultra. Maybe i will change to a Grouper later if they perform as good as they look on paper.
I'm gonna have to go Ultra-d if I don't hear much more outta this.
Seems like ATI slow to a crawl these days.
It went all quiet i do admit, I have mailed Sapphire again and i will be mailing TUL also to see if they are producing any boards based on grouper design.Quote:

hang in there boys I will do my best to get some answers.
I know it's been said before, but Bigtoe, you are invaluable to the computer enthusiast community.
lestat has pics up of the DFI board in another thread
The problem for me is that first of all, i don't even got any ETA.. secondly even if it will come out soon, it will take a while before we see it in sweden i think..
So now i will go AN8 Ultra (already ordered). Then if Grouper proves to be a killer, i may be upgrading then. Right now i ordered a Venice 3k+, so then maybe it will be grouper + an X2 when they drop in price.
Great news about the DFI Crossfire, it's the one I'm waiting for anyway. But "a few weeks" is still pretty vague. It could mean three... four... five... six.... six weeks would put us in August. :slapass:Quote:

Bigtoe, while we wait did you bench the grouper against DFI, or could you?
