By the way this article reads, UTT chips of some type, which we all pretty much know.

What I really want to know is what are they currently testing over at Legit Reviews that is hitting in excess of DDR600 with 2-2-2 timings?

Edit - Ignore this last part...it appears that the 4x multi was used therefore no DDR600 speeds were achieved.

Your point is well made, maybe it is a little too early for the "WOW!"

I agree that there's no "proof", but (and its only my opinion) that site has been around for a while and the author of the article has written many reviews, etc. and he doesn't generally run off half-baked so for him to include that in his article has a little more (make that much more) credibility than if I had said I'd hit 300 and then shown no proof.

Time will tell...as it always does.

Probably 'cause they don't hang out at XS or they would know better.

eva, I just registered over there and saw where you did tell him about the 4x back in late April in his "DDR600" thread. Do you think that the UTT article was written before then and now he does know about the 4x bug? He shouldn't have released the UTT article with that statement if he knew better.

Does anyone known a (cheep) shop that ships to Europe and where they have this beauty's?

I'm searching a US shop that ships to Europe because the current Dollar - Euro rate, 200 Dollar is just 156.06 Euro. So even if the shipping cost's are 20 dollar it's cheeper. :banana:

But I haven't found a shop jet....

I posted, commenting that the post by HKPolice (quoted above) had validity and the article's author then posted saying he would look into it as part of a review of OCZ's VX ram and in the meantime he would edit the article from DDR600 to DDR500.

You guys shook him up I think. Eva2000 had already posted this info in a thread there at LR back in mid April so I'm not sure why he posted that DDR600 stuff, as he had been made aware of the problem with the 4x multi.

Anyways, bottom line is that there was no DDR600.

I take my "WOW" back (I can do that, can't I?).

Haha, I posted in their forum thread and pointed out the A64 4x multiplier bug. Then they fixed it. Hahahaha they didn't know about it before.

'legit reviews' doesn't sound so legit anymore.
