Offical watch-group for Venice

So about a 30 dollar price increase on everything except the 3800. If you look at the winchesters, the NC cores might be less, and remember to look for retail boxed version.

The 3800 is about a 60 dollar price hike, but there never was a winnnie core... so eh. We all knew that there would be a price to pay for the first ones, 30 dollars isn't too bad I suppose. I've been trying to put together my rig for a few weeks now so I don't mind paying 30 dollars over a winchester core.

Yea it's all pre-order. Hopefully you and I will see our Venice chips ship out by the end of the week :toast:

the 3200+ is $50 more than the 3000+, the same was true for winny. I may get the 3200+ only if it has a proven higher average overclock but it may still be speedbinned pretty low.

Its really not as bad at is looks, just compare to the whinny prices on NCIX, they all suck. 3000+ venice is only $10 more than teh winny. It seems high beause its $30 more than most retails charge for the winny

im waiting for monarch to start selling these chips so i can get that mobo+CPU+ free HL2 combo :D. im having a hard time deciding whether to get a 3000+ or a 3200+, is the latter more likely to use a higher quality core, or is it only with 3500+?

Lol made me go back and look to make sure. Remember everything is defaulted to canada on their site so you have to change it when registering.

No, the core is the same all round, but there are rumors that the higher chips will be speed binned.
If they are, :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: venice....ill get a winny again.

No telling, in the winchesters they seemed to be the same really. Actually see more sigs with 3000+ clocking higher, but that may be b/c more ppl bought 3000+s as they are less expensive of course.

Hey C42, did you use paypal as payment method or credit card? I picked paypal as my CC doesn't have enough funds. You think I should send the money now or tomorrow?

I picked cc. Can you pay your cc online? B/c they shouldn't charge you until it ships, so if you could get it paid in a day or so...

Reason I say that is b/c if a better deal pops up in the mean time, you can cancel, with paypal that might be harder to do...

If that is your only way you can pay though, I'd go ahead and get 'er done now so you can be high on the list, as it will be popular item of course, and they may only get a few dozen on the first shipment.

But hey I'm out for the night. Now that I finally got a pre-order in on that I can get some sleep. Last night was up all night hitting refresh lol.

I would wait for newegg or zzf, probably cheaper but i couldn't wait and jumped at a winnie yesterday that does 2.7ghz@1.58V stable on air. :) I think i'll be satisfied for a while. I can't wait to see what you guys can do with these do though. :D

I was talking to NCIX Canada and they said they should be shipping them out END OF APRIL. :rolleyes: There might still be some waiting to do. :/

A UK Online store says their distributor cannot get any till June... :(
