My E6 0530CPFW does 2.52@1.45, 280x9. Anything higher and it fails prime within a minute. No screens sorry, my mobo suffered a crash during a bios flash.

I have to work on my memory timings and get them a bit tighter but its doing OK so far at 10 X 290 t1 one to one. 3d stable.
hy guys! ;)
I've not got idea of how to get an stable and decent overclock with my A8N-SLI premium mobo, my Venice 3500+ core and my pair of Dimms--> 2x1024 OCZ PC 4000: 3-4-4-8 (PSU Enermax 480W kill noise, tower Kandalf by thermaltake, VGA: ASUS EN7800 GTX)
Now I'm running my system at @2651 (2200 default) with this config in bios:
Multi: 11x (Default 11x)
Vcore:1.550 V
Clock: 241 MHZ
DDR CLOCK: 400 MHZ at 3(Tcl)- 4(Trcd)- 4(Trp)- 8(Tras)- 11(Trc)- 16(Trfc)-5 (Trwt)- 3(Twr) 1T------> I don't Know if the Trc,Trfc an the Trwt values are correct because the bios autoset it to 400 MHZ with 2T and i set then to 1 T. What do you think about this? Should i change it?
DDR Volt. 2.80
Chipset Volt: 1.6
HT volt: 1.5
HT multiplier: x4
amd cool n quiet : Off
--------------------------------------->all is stable with superpi and mentest at @2680 and prime fails, but with this configuration prime95 is stable during 5 hours more or less (memtest and superpi o.k.) then crash  .
my results in sandra are :
CPU: between Athlon 53 FX and Atlhon 55 FX-->11100/5425
Memory band...:6750/6650
my temps with my zalman 7000-B CU are:
Idle:43º
Full: 55º
Chipset: 126º fanless
I'm very confused about how i must to do the correct overclock.
What do you think about this config?
At this moment is the most stable config. in performance/stability but I think that is a poor overclock. :(
On the other Hand, clockgen say to me that my system is stable over 2690 but then prime95 fails.
Please post all your opinions and sugestions over this config and others that you think that could be better than this one and what i must to do or not to do...
Please help!!!
Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor and terrible english...Rob :slapass:
today i have received an 0531 BPMW
it does 2 ghz on stock voltage for now, but the psu is freaking out, i think thats the main problem, at 1.4V and 2.050 ghz it just freezed, raising up the voltage did nothing
at 2 ghz its stable but even at 2.025 its not
weird imho
just waiting for my new psu and i will give you some screens
how do you see its an E6 ???
Look IHS, it if ends in BW then it's an E6.
Through CPU-Z it should have stepping 2 (F F 2)
well im confused, my MB rates to above a 300HTT but i cant get it past 270 my mem is stable at 2.5-3-3-7 past 230 and the 3000+ is supposed to at least get 2.4, i cant get past 2.2, now the odd thing is that i cant max out everything at one time, BTW im relativly new to this OC thing, and at the settings below i have flashing on the screen, (it will flash black and than go back to normal. i can superpi it just fine so its stable, im confused. HELP!

it does 2.75 @ 1.5V stock cooling, NO airflow
No, not really what I meant but that is ok. 2.75@1.5v is good, but your right.. try to get a better fan/hs.
ah, you ment up that voltage and see what you got there
i know, normally i will put phase change on top of that middel october orso
0520DPAW.. n1 Stepping! :toast:

DAMN 1.744 V, YOU GOT SOME BIG ASS BALLS!!!!!!!
AND CPU-Z UsuAlly TELLS YOU LESS THAN THE CORRECT VCORE ON DFI BOARDS......
BADASs
1.744 isn't that extreme for watercooling. Now, 1.8 would be. Anyway, nice clocks Gravedigga, that's very impressive for normal watercooling!
:p:  I,m using 1.86V at my MSI Neo2 (venice) at boxed air cooling.Quote:

What's your mobo Dave_Sz ?
Is that bragging or exclaiming that the Neo2 is undervolting? If the volts are that high, i would like you see you prime it all day...Quote:

yeah man i got simular results with my 3200 venice. heres a shot of 2800mhz 1:1 1.4v and climbing...
peace perc,
-22C? not really similar :p:
Great CPUs anyway
Mine was going about 2850Mhz @~1.4V on boxed heatsink, not 1:1 tho. After this, it needs about +.25V to get to 3Ghz. Raising voltage past this point is just calling for instability, even if the temp are fine; <40C

so your saying that with that venice you cant give it more then 1.425v or am i missreading? i would think that these venices would handle 1.55v-1.65v depending on you cooling no? plus 3gigs at 1.425v thats a nice chip! id like to see your chip on phasechange i bet it would fly. im aiming for 3200mhz out of this 0521DPMW veince i have. but knowing my luck ill be in the same 2800-3000mhz range i cant seem to bust out of? think i need colder unit that would help! ok man good luck...
peace perc,
No,
1.40V
+0.25V
______
1.65V
No matter what voltage higher after this, it's windows instant freeze, or BSOD :stick:
