Yeah it was like that um in December 2004. :stick: When alot of guys here said "yeah no more 130nm fx55 chips" AND ITS WHAT 4-5+ months later and we are now geting this again. Like a person that calls an earthquake, as if you say something for long enough its bound to happen some day. ;)

I for one will not beleive anything untill Its shipped to big resellers like monarch, zipzoomfly, and newegg for del. not preorder..

I wonder when these venices that where preordered will really ship also? Prob another week or two or three :)

called sparco just now.... they havent got the sandys (yet) but they are spectign them later today or tomorrow morning.. next batch of sandis is on secodn week of may ..?!?

I just called to add something to my order. They also told me they didnt get them in yet but hopefully today. They will be shipped out ASAP. Also they increased the number of their first shipment. Cause i ordered mine late last night and he said i was on shippment #1

I ordered the 3700+ from Sparco saturday morning. When I called to confirm today I was also told that I would be in the first shipment. And they told me there initial batch would be 150 pieces, and that as of 9:40 am today they had taken about 100 orders

Don't quite know what to believe at this point. Guess I won't know for sure until I get that tracking number :toast: :YIPPIE:

I was wondering what would be the added benefit of getting the 3700+ rather then a Venice 3500+. I wanna learn a little OCing

I too was being told I'll be in the first shipment!!

Folks, It isn't too bad not knowing when will they have the cpu in stock, the worst part is AFTER they'd shipped out your processor! :D because I know I'll be checking on the tracking status constantly...like couple times a day, and can think of nothing but the dang package. :D Just when you think it can't be any worst than that, now check this out...while you're at work and when you track your package status for the 100th times again, it shows "DELIVERED" in bold...like at noon! and the package sitting somewhere at your front door waiting for you to get off work and open it!! I don't know about you but that last couple hours at work seems like years!! :slobber: And if you happen to be at home on the delivery date, then your neck will be sored for keep lurking out for any sign of those dang UPS or FedEX like a 3 year old waiting for ice-cream truck, and I know I'll more than likely lose it and keep asking "Where the F* is my package??!!!!" :lol2: :D

Well it seems that the 3700+ San Diego is going to be a big hit. A load of people have pre-ordered them.

Im intrested in how they perform vs. a 3800+ Venice :D

When I got my NF4 mobo, I watched the tracking all day only to watch it turn to "undeliverable returned to warehouse". When I call and raised H$$L they tell me the driver couldn't find my house. Two days later I got my board :D

BAD NEWS from Sparco!!! I just check the Live availability of the 3700 San Diego and they updated the status and shows NONE available in CA warehouse anymore, Eearliest ETA is now May 13th 2005, WTF man???????? :shock2::shock2::shock2:

It looks like either those reps at Sparco have been lying to us and tricked us into putting in pre orders with the fake ETA, OR maybe they'd already received the shipment in the warehouse and every single one of their pre orders have been full-filled, scanned, and ready to ship out on Tuesday and NONE left to be order till May 13th. I hope it's the later but man I have a bad feeling about this and I really don't feel like waiting for another month.....arrgggghhhh

I dunno...I've been watching the live availability from Bottom Line Telecommunications as well (which shows the number of parts on order as well as availability/dates) and from what I can tell they use the same Distro as Sparco, so it's the same availability pool, but with more information available...checked BLT's availability a few minutes ago and it was showing the incomming order for 110 units with 127 units orderd, so they're deffinately ordered beyond what the initial shipment is going to have...and their ETA was showing "Overdue" not may 13th...

can anyone confirm that san diego 3500+ has 1mb l2 cache, read it here but someone in another forum says it will only have 512kb l2

UGH the code for the CPU says it will only have 512k l2 cache read all of this thread it is stated many times :)

looks like it....I assume no less than 60 people put in their pre-orders for the 3700 SD alone, so Spanko will be busy getting boat loads of cancellation phone calls soon. :D My dad used to tell me....if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Shouldn't of get my hope so high in the first place....haha :bananal:
