hello guys, i need help getting this sandy to 2.9 prime stable. rite now is 286httx10 4hr prime with 1.52v. a lil voltage bump can get it stable i think.
right now im trying to go 290x10. im not sure wat cause the problem. i think is caused by the memory timings. it will fail right after 15mins..... no matter wat voltage i give it still fails on 15min. can you guys post your 290htt bios settings here. thank you hopefully your timings can help me out.

Only on 3.10 I can reach Max. Async. 7ns on my TCCD's... The newest (4.14, 5.10fix, 6.23), optimized for TCCD should be better, but I must use 8ns to have stabillity like on 3.10. Isn't it strange?

Is there anything I can change that increases the mem speed as high as turning off bank interleave decreases?

When I turned off bank int. my SuperPI that was 31.1s now is 31.7s :mad:
Is there any setting that can remove this difference?

Can I ask what the first line mean please? Also, in the newer BIOS revs there are only DISABLED(4BURST) and the other option like AUTO or something in 32bit Gran. what should I choose?Quote:

thx for this great guide. got a question. which bios should i take for 2x512mb tccd with 440 and 443 chips on it? i use a dfi nf4 sli-d with a 3000 venice. thx in advance. some settings of users with the same or nearly the same setup would be great :)
I updated the guide with some info when using 4x 512MB TCCD dimms. :)
I am still trying DDR600 but chances are low for now. If people have some great intel , please share !

Hi, I came here because kakaroto is the best! Enough brown nosing! Anyway, I have both a 3500+ winchester and 4800 X2 CPU. I am running them on a DFI NF4 Ultra-D with OCZ 2X512 Platinum rev.2 memory. TCCD obviously.
Anyway, I have tried both CPUs now on my new watercooling setup and I am getting nothing. I mean I can run MemTest86+ just fine using your guide up to 300Mhz(2.5-3-3-7)however, once in Windows, even with 1.55v vcore and 2.7v on the vdimm I can never even achieve a 200-300Mhz OC. Which I know is very possible. I am missing something but I just can't find out what it is.
I think one of my problems is my assumption if MemTest86+ passes then my memory is 100% stable even in Windows, but I guess it isn't. Do I need more memory voltage? You can assume I am using your guide for all memory settings.....HELP!

I'm just about to switch from BH-5 to TCCD - will get me 3 1GIG kits.
It is G.Skill 4800LA, Corsair 3200XLPT and OCZ 3200EL Platinum rev.2.
Hope at least one of them will do 295 at 2,5-3-3-X. Need 12 x 295min - 298max.
Now my question: I'm using the 510-2FIX BIOS and ANGRY GAMES from DFI forums recommends with the -2 BIOS versions to use the yellow slots for TCCD.
U say orange is better. What shall I do ??? :confused:
With my BH-5 I'm still on the orange ones without any problem.

HCC, I've reached DDR610 2.5-3-3-6 1T in the orange slots with the 510-2 bios. When I hit the max in the orange slots, I tried to switch to the yellow ones and the computer would not even boot at 305Mhz. So, in my case the orange slots were the best.

Thanks To This Thread I Just Got My Patriot Pc3200 To Pc4000 3-4-4-10 1t Memtest Passed 6 Times And Now I'm Priming It.
Here, orange and yellow slots are about the same.
I have tried the same and the yellow ones woun't boot :(

My reason: cpu is X2 4200+ on DFI nf4 SLI-D and watercooling.
I hit brick wall at 2750Mhz, 2700Mhz rockstable (270*10).
Memory controller freaks out around 300Mhz (2.5-3-3-6 1T), so 300*9 is not really stable (still benchable). Reason will be the cooling I guess... cpu runs 55°C at full load of both cores on 2700Mhz.
So my two cents were that the only way to improve performance was to go to tighter timings, only possible with bh-5...
The G.Skill will be arriving next week (I hope) so I cross my fingers to reach 270*10 with tight timings.
Anyone seen a guide like this on bh5 instead of tccd???
And do you guys think I made the right descision???
