DNA drivers, some tweaking and 300FSB and very very cold room =)
i'm disappointed with that review at madshrimps, they should used a 2.4c and saw how high it would go... using a 3.0c, thats just lame esp when ur testing out memory, the memory can def go above 250 on an intel sys, the 3.0c was the limiting factor...
which voltages did u use on mems, chipset and agp? and why that timing?Quote:

And this timing is the only one that works with 300.
So not fair...I don't even use 3DMark01SE anymore. 3DMark03 is more accurate as you can see. I score 7200+ with my CPU only clocked at 2.0GHz. It is more GFX driven like it should be.Quote:

I dont even have heatsinks on ram on the ati =)
dooooooooooh! i cant run 3dmark01 with more then 290fsb:( i can run 1test with 300fsb, then my comp crashes
You should slap some on there man and overclock them lol. I can't even score as high as you are on 3DMark01SE because I can't clock my CPU high enough man.Quote:

Put it on 470/390, had some strange graphix thru the test =))
Yeah those test don't count in my opinion lol...
@Ubermann: Are your overclocks stable? Or are you just testing them and thats it. Are you running MemTest86 on them?
AgreedQuote:

Gonna mount a cpu cooler on the ati and some ramsink, i wonder if an P3 stock cooler has right dimension.
Dont really know how it looks, gonna pick it up tomorrow.
it's always better to review processors in production!Quote:

Grab a heatsink for like a Barton 2500+ and it will fit just right. You just have to line up the holes and drill two holes. Then takes 4 zip ties and cut the end off of 2 of them and that is going to be on the back of the card itself and use the other 2 zip ties through the heatsink and card of course. It works really well. The card can support the weight. I am going to do it to mine as soon as I get a heatsink.Quote:

Wow really nice clocks Ubermann I think you just sold me on buying some of that ram. Did you remove the heatspreader and add some sort of extra cooling?
any test of these memory with DFI NF2/ABIT NF7-S 2.0 ?
I have a gig of 3700EB right now and I'm thinking about getting either the 3200EL Rev2 or the 3700 Gold Rev3. Anybody tried all three before? Which one is the best?
I haven't tried the EB but I can tell you this. For Bandwidth I'd say you have the best. If your going AMD or looking to run at lower or default speeds with tight timmings the Platinum EL would be best. But the Rev3 3700 won't out perform your EB, so I'd stick with what you have, and spend the cash on a faster CPU.
EDIT sorry just noticed you have a FX53, so I'd guess the FX55 is out of the question? With your Processor I'd go Platinum EL, but that Mushkin is probably great stuff with it's BH5, want to get rid of it? If you do PM me.
I agree, Liquid3D
Thanx :)
We've seen some really outrageous speed being done with this memory but I'm pretty sure they're no where stable for more than a few minutes. What's the max speed and voltage are you guys running your memory for normal everyday usage?
I've also decided to get a pair to play around with :D
I use 300/8 all days at 2.5-4-3-7.
Im still messing around, dont play any games yet.
The crashes i get is from CPU thats not stable at 2.4 but i run it there anyway =)
Gonna voltmod the ati today, should be fun.
Have one 80's fan blowing over ram and have not removed the heatspreader, should i do that ?
