Hi tictac,
Just want to know if Bios mods cause vido cards to not work?
I drove for 8 hrs to get new Asus 9999 128Mhz GT card got home pulled out old Geforce 4 Ti ultra put in new card and all I got was colour. No bios no boot no windows but it went into windows?
After the usual pull everything out to find what is going onstill the same.
However after putting in the new card I did notice 32 run dill takes along time to load and after taking card out it is still the same even after reload.
Did notice after loading chip set drivers 32run dill takes longer to load and internet explorer shut down ramdomly?Does this mean the board is now crap?
Does anyone have the same trouble
uninstall your previous vga driver before installing new vga to avoid any conflict
Can't wait to try some of these on my NF7. Only one I tried was the d10 manta rays which my board won't boot into windows with.
little update
D27 3DFire
Change Log :
- D23 3D Fire Interface

udah... pake nf7s aja lagi hehehe
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8388969 <- tictac I love your work!! :D 240fsb 3dmark stable, with aircooling and tightest timings!
Probably going to try the D27 tomorrow :) thanks for still supplying bioses to us, the faithful NF7-S owners :P lol
Does any of these bioses have problems getting into the bios with the OCZ ddr booster connected? I get a blue line at the bottom of the screen when trying to enter the bios. I got in twice (after many tries), but it froze after a couple of seconds. I can boot into Windows and everything.

thats a 'noise' issue and some boards. introduced with d26 and d27 and some boards. hook up a cpu fan to the header, and try dialing the speed slower or faster, and that blue line will dissappear, and youll be able to get in to bios.
Try a different fan header for each fan, its RFI interference.
TicTac - whats different from your bioses and say hellfire's? I can run TRP and TRCD-r at 1 with his but I cant get yours to do it.. but yours give higher and faster numbers at 2-2-2-2 than his at 2-1-2-1 do anyways... what gives?
Quick compare:
XP-M 2500+ @ 2600mhz 2.0v Ricky tweak
2x512 225mhz CH-5 @ 3.35v
Abit nF7 rev 2

hey stevil... may i test hellfire's d26 bios? if there is a 2T (cpc off) revision, great, if not thats cool too ...
thx:)
Well, not good results yet. I've gone from being perfectly stable at 235x11.5 @ 1.96V using D26 Mantarays XT CPC ON BIOS to freezing at the desktop/browsing the web using the same settings and the D27 3DFire 1T BIOS.
Also I didn't really notice any difference in memory bandwidth... so, I'm back to the D26 for now until I can get the time to test the D27 2T BIOS. I think my CH-5 is hitting it's wall @ 3.3V as 2T hasn't really helped on the FSB with other BIOS.
have you tried tuning your alphas & ds,sr setings torin?
