I'm assuming that the helix fans have been delayed further? Is there a new ETA? Too much longer and I'll have to bite the bullet and buy some gentle typhoons even though it kills me paying that much for fans...
we hope we'll be able to start shipping in 2 weeks! sorry for the delay.
Great, thanks. Do you have any performance data to share?
Hopefully some kit will be avabible with rad+red, apogee drive and helix fans :D
Curious too.
Yes APD2 should be released next week.
Currently sitting with my money here waiting on a Drive II. Summer is killing my system. Gonna have to start underclocking.
I need 3 - hope I can get my hands on them very soon, thanx for the update, Stephen :)Quote:

@waterlogged: Still working on it. I know you've been waiting long, just a little bit more patience.
APD2 sounds like AVP2 I like it :-)

Heya Mate, one for my Sandybridge NAS, which is relocated from it's existing PQ-08 watercooled setup to the Fractal Array R2 case - need the APD-II tidy things up.Quote:
Three? What are you planning mate? I want to build some ITX rig with it.
The next two will be slightly modified and be fitted to my HP Blackbird dual-Xeon setup....need to remove existing dual Koolance pump-setup to make way for my Tape-backup drive....both projects in my signature.
I have everything ready for the NAS rebuild, just waiting on this new pump/block combo.
@ Gabe and Stephen - Please see my comment here, Post 77 :)
I am just as anxious to receive them as you guys are. I want to retrofit all my systems with'em, theyr'e that good! :D
Gabe = Teaser
GTX 680 4GB water blocks? GTX 780 water blocks? :)
Oh, I can't wait to get one of these... APD2:) Release week finally came!
Per the PDF for the APD2:
3. Unparalleled Reliability (redundant pumps).
Does this mean there are two pumps on top of that waterblock? Not sure where the redundancy comes from.
Only a single pump per block - I will have redundancy in my Blackbird setup though..
I guess if you can retrofit one of these to your gfx card now.....
What, you did't get the memo? there are two pumps stacked on top of each other in APD2. That's why we use the number 2 at the end.
J/K of course :ROTF:
Seriously now, this is a waterblock, right?
So, let's assume you are on the market for a waterblock.. it means you already have a loop setup including a pump, right?
Now, let's imagine you want to get the best waterblock money can buy, and you decide for APD2.
Install it in your system like any other waterblock, but now you have not one but two pumps => system redundancy.
