Issue is fixed as far as I'm concerned.
Additionally the latest versions feature Vcore up to 1.7v.
Since 1.60A my mouse is MUCH smoother in UEFI too ;)

This 1.60a bios ftw !!!
I'm getting error "image not detected" when trying to update to this new bios. Anybody else having this problem?
Format yours pendrive to FAT32, put P67EXT41.60A on it and from UEFI start Instant Flash.
Your file must be corrupt then.
Mine is 8.192 kb, so yours must be corrupt.
Can u maybe post the file, the one in the link is corrupt.
It is fine. Link is correct 100%. I have since come to understand that you need tu unzip that file. The downloaded file is aproximately 3MB but after unpack it is 8192KB.
How do you want to deal with UEFI if you don't aware such basic things?
Spread spectrum issue is fixed in 1.60A. Also loving the smoother mouse movements since that bothered me a bit on the older versions.
Sleep issue is still not fixed.
BIOS 1.42 is out for Extreme 6 :
1. Update "ME" and MRC code.
2. Move DRAM-timing options to submenu.
3. Add "Onboard Debug LED" setup option.

Try one of those, I uploaded the file for you.
Great ;)
Come back and report how it came out for you!
After playing with it for a little bit, this seems to be the most stable yet. No more cold boot problems, or the double post issues. Those were the most annoying problems for me. The spread spectrum issue is resolved as well. Keep up the good work ASrock!!!
Does anybody have thorough data on UEFIs 1.51, 1.53 and 1.6A? From what I have found out, 1.6A and maybe 1.53 are worth a shot but for me 1.42A works great apart from the on-off bug and thats not THAT annoying.
FYI Asrock FTP is curently "550 Access Denied", so I can't go snooping on their FTP atm. I also had a reply from Asrock and they have forwarded the additional information I provided them with to R&D. Oh, and both UEFI 1.53 and 1.6A extracted fine for me from PCtrieber, clocking in at 8MB each.
I suggest trying 1.60A, so far this one seems to be the best I tested :)
