Someone is at front page at www.hardocp.com
congrats once more my friend
Incredible work.
I only wish I had the balls and steady hand to try all those mods! :hehe:
btw, what did your unbuffered mem bw look like?
it wouldn't matter if the clockgen people rewrote the software. The clockgenerator on the board wont go over 400mhz. So anything over that would lock.
Hipro,
what about a turbo PLL for the clockgen to go farther?
also, how about a shot at the highest 1:1 with that board?
I'd love to see that :)
BTW, here is the link to the manf. spec sheet.

Well its rated at 3.3v....I wonder if one could raise this to maybe 3.4-3.5v and overclock the clock-generator? ;)
Just kidding.
EDIT
oops... was wrong... shoulda read it first
P4P800 & 2.4C M0
there is my girlfriend :D

nice chip speed but what I'm really salivating over is the fact that that memory is in DUAL CHANNEL.....I will be your slave and kiss your feet if you can tell me how to get my memory to do 480mhz dual channel let alone 530mhz! Oh, btw, each of my sticks can do 530mhz 2-2-2-5 easy @ 3.3v in single channel. How can I get them to run Dual channel above 450? I am dying to know....
Hes giving them some suicide volts :slobber:Quote:

Ok.. Now when 400fsb is maxed your still at stock speed...
Time to up the multi?
Good job anyway hipro :)
Er i wouldn't say that. Hipro5 has accomplished a great feat and i wouldn't take anything away from that. But vdd and vtt mod was done before the ic7 hit store shelves in europe and usa. Mods were done in china/japan/tawain hell i can't keep track. Vagp was done a long time ago. I've been doing the vdd/vtt/Vnorth mod since a couple days after i got the ic7 when it first came out. Hipro5 has in some regards tried and tested and improved some of the mods as a few of us have. I've been looking for the Vchip mod for awhile. I like Hipro5's idea of adding caps to Vnorth and Vcore mosfets. That isn't new, but is always a good idea to do. When you combine a lot of mods and find a mobos weakness and fix it like Hipro5 has done better than anyone else then your mobo can really shine. A great combination of mods and lots of hard work paid off for Hipro5 and i think that says a lot.Quote:

Just kidding.
Mine works (so far) at 3.6 Volts........I'll try to feed more to see how it does...... ;)

....filtering the spikes of the Vmem(Vdimm) voltage. They are in parallel with some SMD(front side) capacitors...........ASUS(once upon a time in it's Granite Bay mobo) had a choke and some extra capacitors for that......but after that......nothing......
hellas rulezzzzz
hipro rulezzzzz
with my P4C800 and agp mod for 2v and more
vagp = vdd
NB at 12°C in aircooling
Proc at -24 -25 with 1.88-1.92v (no problem) in idle and -21 in full
cpumark with 4059 or 4072MHz, it's the same score
