Ok so how about some ram that can do C7 that won't break my bank account in half?
Can anyone tell me if these are any good under Am3:
OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Gold Low Voltage Dual Channel 2x2GB cl8 (OCZ3G1600LV4GK)
Unfortunatly i havent been able to find any decent ram under 120€ available in portugal, only ripjaws or ocz gold.
(No amd black edition or gold amd edition available)
I've read in various threads that cl7 ripjaws cant go any lower than cl8, so im kinda leaning towards the ocz, the problem is i have no info whatsoever on these OCZ in am3.
I'd stay away from the OCZ. In the past 2 months I've tried out 4 pairs of ocz plats and 3 of the golds and its a crapshoot. Either they're not actually binning their sticks correctly or the person in charge of QC is negligent. Out of the 7 total sets I tested, only 2 sets ran without errors at the advertised timings and I had to mix and match sticks to make those two working sets. OCZ support is also going into the crapper. As a company they're starting to behave as they did back when they were still under the control of the original owners, which for anyone old enough to recall that episode, is a sign to take your money elsewhere because they're gonna leave ya wearing lipstick to put it nicely.
Thanks, guess im stuck with crap nº1 (ripjaws) or crap nº2 (ocz gold) its going to be a though choice :shakes:
hehe, but you said you were interested in that memory also :D
I can't run away from bad CL :D It is following me :D

Got a choice between these and another set of dominator gt's as it stands.
Has anyone tried this kit?

This is not my screenshot, it is from local language forum member, Kingston HyperX T1 2x2GB 2133 8-8-8-24, they perform the same as Corsair Dominator GT 2000C8

I checked prices. Kingston 2133 are quite expensive.. more than Corsair 1866 per gb. I think Kingston 2000 price is interesting (150€ för 4gb). The question is how worse it performs compared to 2133 one. I almost believe Kingston 2000 doesnt have Hyper chips when I look at the price.
I think that for my part I will set with G.Skill Eco for 24/7 and Kingston 1x2 Hyper chip modules for bench if Kingston 2000 4gb is not promising. I cannt wait beat D9jnl with v2,35 for 32m superpi :p:
I have thought buy Corsair 1866 then sell one module. But Im too lazy :D

Ask him for 32M with trcd at 6 and ask for a voltage shot at normal ambient temps.......I'm willing to bet voltage is excessive and that was done on asus and trcd 6 is a no go..
I have a few set of kingstons, not same league imho.
I hate to sound like a broken record but 1m is freaking useless for any sign of stability.
you really want to nail my sorry a s s to the wall don't you ::p
If these are the same we used at the P55 event, they will do pretty good. We reached 2200 c7-9-7-24 on P55 at 1.85 Vdimm. But if they do C6 at eg 1700ish speeds no idea
tighten them timings mate to at least C8-8-8-24 1T maybe they will do c7-7-7-24 tooo
*CMG4GX3M2A2000C8 ordered for tomorrow morning* Sorry
Couldn't find the 2133 t1 kit in the uk and I didn't fancy the 1gb single sided old elpidas so I just went with the doms. Just praying that the i5 kit is made of the same stuff the i7 kit is. Last 4gb gt kit I bought was a joke :(
Will post some ss's from the LCC since it going to be purely about the ram now. Will hopefully get a good few hours in  Ive always been able to push my D9 ram harder on my sempron 140 so I might stick that in :ROTF:
Dominator GT 2000C8 is good stuff. :)
oh you mean like this chew* my old est of D9JNM can do 1m cas6 900 as well but its not stable at all.

I was lucky because it was $209.99 few weeks ago at the Microcenter. Now it is $249.99.
Got some benchmarks here from a 4ghz cap lcc ;)
These are dominator gt's c8 2000, the i5 kit. I know you hate 1m chew* but I'm just showing the best from each ram kit.

These are dominator gt's 1600 c7 bemp edition. Terrible sticks, took 2.2v for This run, but at least they got there I suppose.

These are some EOL ocz titaniums, if you can find them I recommend getting them because they are awesome for low frequency work, D9gtrs I presume.
