If I understand well the cpu was on LN2, the frequency was low though.
BUT scores are nice:D
Waiting for a massive update with a fourth card:D

Yeah we only had a few liters of LN2 (5-6) so we ran out of it be4 we could run Vantage on higher clock. Maybe next time :)
for 3D marks i mean, was clock good, 3D mark is not validation or superpi 1 M :D
3.07GHz Sample on water...
Win7 x86, no tweaks.

sorry its 32bit.
@M3KK
Its still the stock H50 indeed.
@chri$h
What temp was youre water?
very nice scores here +10
OMG!! That Vantage score is unbelievable. I cannot imagine how much this will impact rendering. At $1k it might be worth it, but better start saving now.
Oh sh*t :D.
I want one of these beasts :).
Yeee, 32nm will just bring us the revolution !
That's with Corsair H50, which is almost like high-end air.
These guys are not posting any temperatures, but running cinebench with these kind of crazy-volts has been unheard on these kins of coolings, before.
The 32nm shrink seams not only be compensating for 2 new cores, but also is resulting in much cooler temperature too. If that's the case, then we are looking at much higher 24/7 OC on air and water. But first we have to get one of these guys (the brave one) to post a core-temp under Prime-load to confirm these speculations.
Cinebench R10 x64

Have installed coretemp but it says only to tjmax, cant get it reverse...anyone?
They running extremely cool , stock about 26-28 degrees and at 4600 1.44v vantage cpu test just 50.

cinebench 9.5 64bit

TJMax is 105C on the 32nm CPUs tested so far so these chips have lots of head room. This information should be written into Model Specific Register (MSR) 0x1A2 in bits [23:16] in Core i7 and i5 processors. You can use any MSR Tool to read this register. Enter 0x1A2 in the MSR Number box and click on Read MSR.
http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/954/readtjmax.png
The results are in hexadecimal so:
64 hex = TJMax 100
69 hex = TJMax 105
A Core 2 CPU like my E8400 doesn't report anything in this part of the register. (00)
So when can we expect these in stores ?
asus board temp is not realy close to coretemp. i leave the voltage to 1.51 and running cinebench10 , this is what i get.

Good job, and thx for sharing the temperature.
That temperature is really promising, i7 would hit over 110'C and shut down with that Vcore, for sure.
Here is one with no IHS (i expected it will be harder to pull it off :))

looks like a mess, but the Core seams to be the same size as i7, or maybe even smaller?
Well it was a mess b4 i started the surgery, so there was no need for taking it nice and easy.
anybody with a B steppling Gulftown out there?
anybody with a DFI prerelease Bios out there?
... thanks
No, and no. ;)
But you already knew that ^^
RealTempGT.exe that supports these new Gulftown processors is ready for some beta testing.

If there are any bugs head to the RealTemp thread and post some screen shots.
D*mn, those are some sick results! Plus the Gulftown :banana::banana::banana: makes it even better. :D
How do you guys get ahold of the ES chips, anyways?
