I don't think it will be faster than the 4870. I'm thinking more along the lines that it will match the performance of the high end of the previous generation (similar to the 3870 -> 4670 transition and then some). If that's the case, then my statement holds water since even a 4890 can't make use of much over 1GB of video memory.Quote:
