4770 redux for DX11.
it would be awesome to see this launch with as much power as a current 150$ card, but cost only 100$
its a tough call for the pricing department, i would sell a 4890 with DX11 for 200$ until nvidia gives it some competition. but then again, selling them near dirt cheap would be a great way to get everyone to convert and obtain nuken futs market share.
Just want to share with you guys. One of my local forumers got this.

If those are accurate... 5890x2 at $400, nice price, but on Oct. 19:confused:
So, we won't expect the x2, or something this Sept after all?
I don't think it will be faster than the 4870. I'm thinking more along the lines that it will match the performance of the high end of the previous generation (similar to the 3870 -> 4670 transition and then some). If that's the case, then my statement holds water since even a 4890 can't make use of much over 1GB of video memory.
the x2 have come out last in the past but i think 400 is to low a 5870x2
I don't care about this crossfire X2-BS. HD-5850 for 160 Euro? Count me in :D
Hence, it's safe to say September will be the month where HD5xxx series is coming out.
is the card posted above the "midrange" series? or the equivalent to 4850?
