Team Finland ROCKS :clap::up:
Waiting for LHE+4 pots Ln2 benching
and can try wprime 32+1024?Im curious :)...
when can i buy that mobo in italy????
...congrats...
This is EPIC score for AMD!:clap:
Congratulations to Team Finland and AMD! Keep pushing the envelope!
PS. Best luck benching on Assembly! I would love to be there this year, but I can't :(
Congrats guys , never thought that this is possible
Already taken back.
Same cpu, same config.
Overclocked gpu's, maaaybe higher HT-link, and boom, core 7 bye bye! ;)
Congratz on the AMD 06 record!
its nice to see that Intel has some competition :)
AMD did an incredible job with the Phenom II and I believe it is only the start :)
Ho, ho, ho.........WHAT we've got here?....... :D
I was "out" for a while and you guys meesed everything up!....... :D
Congrats AMD teem for the WR..... ;) :) (yeakssss.....WHAT did I said right now?... I said: "AMD"...... brrrrrr.......... :D )
(Because I'm in love with ATI - though it gives me hard time benching with it - when I want to download their new VGA drivers, I type: "http://www.ati.com" and it re-directs me at the original site... :D )
BUT I think it whould be interesting benching a QUAD over 6GHz..... ;)
BUT Gautum, puting VGAs on LN2, has "lost" in his bench the CFX power and he did a BAD score on GT2 and Canyon Flight........These VGAs under LN2 are very "tricky"...... Do you hear that Vince?...... :D :p:
Give me Vince's i7 CPU, and I'll get the 2k6 WR back you Intel guys...... ;) :p:
No George, that's not a "bad" run. I've seen hundreds of those so I know exactly what they look like. ;)
:toast:
See here @ 6:22 :)

Well.. I'm wrong guy to say anything about this, cause my 965 can do only 5GHz in 06, but not well tweaked Core i7 is not very good in GT2. Pure CPU MHz will not do the trick alone.
On AMD northbridge is the key in that test. Our NB was running 4.5GHz and it is making huge difference. I think you need 4.6-4.8GHz uncore and 5.35Ghz on Core i7 to match that.
My OS is giving some slow runs sometimes and score is bad then, but that drop is too obvious. So I guess Gautum's score is just what it should be
Pure speculation though
Yes Northbridge Frequency gives BIG difference from my tests here with i7... ;)
Going from ~3800 to ~5000MHz, I show quite good numbers....... :)
eVGA is about .5 FPS lower than ASUS (and probably others) If it was a "bad" GT2 the score would've never been a WR. ;) As for the low clfights, whenever they hit, I didn't even let the test finish. :)
Not here. Past 4GHz did nothing in 3D, up to 4.8GHz+. The memory subsystems of Core i7 and AMD can't be compared. Would you believe I've gotten 34.8k with an uncore only in the 3.6GHz range? :p:
Good info Gautum!
Are you 100% sure you didn't see any gains in GT2 with higher uncore/NB speed?
If this is the case, you will need just more MHz for the CPU. 5.35GHz should do it..but how many C0 can do that :D
What do you guys think 06-score is when CPU and all four cores are running @ 6,6 GHz? :wasntme:
Next will be live LN2 session to reach 36k tomorrow but stay tuned..
