I love it Zues!

I builds look very similar, only real difference from the side view is that you have the Dtek block and the EK res.

I even have that Corsair ram cooler on :D

Good job on the 4GHz also :D

I've been finding it very hard to get a high stable clock with 8GB ram

I hope you try to get it higher :D

I can imagine 8GB of rams makes things more complicated, good luck with it Al.

Having said that, the Corsair Dominators i had purchased recently made the system unstable beyond imagination, even at stock settings.

Yesterday i returned them and asked them for some OCZ platinums, those were not in stock but i'll pick them up as soon as they're in, it's only a 10 minute drive.

For the timing being i'll make do with the Cellshocks and their coldboot behaviour.

This morning i woke up to a nice sunny morning so the first thing that went through my mind was: Pictures!

Whilst cleaning the case, making it free of dust and fingerprints the light faded real fast till it became completely overcast. :(

I tried the best i could to take some pics but they came out bad, i tried different ISO but the result is somewhat coarse.

I will put 'm on and promise to make better ones when conditions are more favourable.

Great work Zeus. It's nice to see it all come together in one nice cohesive unit that I'm sure you'll enjoy for years to come.

Any plans for the red SATA cables? They look like they could use some lovin. ;)

Yeah Highflow is a nice shop but not the cheapest though.

Thanks Shazza, she was watching me taking the pics all the time, asking questions like what's this and what's that?

I decided to put here next to the case to show how big the case really is.

Thanks man! I despise the horrible red cables but it was to only thing i had left.

Thanks man, i'm close to being finished now.

Things left to do:

-change red sata cables
-get a sidepanel with window or make one in the exsisting panel
-get a new videocard+ FC block
-enjoy my new build :D

Nope, it's a 200mm res. This is one of the very first, EK now only makes 150 or 250mm, besides 400mm.

There are no ccfl's in my case, just a strip of 24 white leds.

How's that AlphaCool LCD working out, software and such.... I like that Nvidia logo you had on there :up:

Also any thought of removing that Alphacool logo like how you removed the silverstone logo..

Thanks for the kind words and visiting this thread on regular base.

I did not really plan to make a new build any time soon, at least not for myself.

The computer is great and might look a million dollar, the little girl is absolutly priceless. ;)

Thanks. I tried removing the alphacool logo like i removed the silverstone logo but it didn't budge. Same goes for the Zalman logo on the fancontroller.

If anyone knows a way to remove both logo's i'd be pleased to hear.

The software for the alphacool display is a bit of a pain as it seems like alphacool could not be bothered to update it.

The plugins it works with are kinda dated and most won't work well with my motherboard or with AMD in general.

Speedfan gives very odd values for voltages, Asus Probe is supported but only very old versions that won't work with my board, everest works but cannot read out the temps of all 4 cores independent and MBM5 won't work with my board either. :(

It does display some logo's very nicely and it shows the default information from windows.

I will spend some qualitytime with it as the main purpose for me was to let it show voltages and temps actually.

Hopefully alphacool will wake up and update their sofware.

Tonite i ordered my new videocard, a HD4870 so i'm gonna need a new fullcoverblock.

What do you people think would suit my case best?

EK- copper acetal (my first choice)
EK- copper plexi (lexan?)
EK- nickel plexi

Keeping in mind that the heatpipe on the board is all copper i think a copper block would suit best.

Once the new graphics card plus fullcoverblock and black sata cables are in will give the Canon powershot another run for it's money. :D

By God... Your rig looks wicked!
It's everything I anticipated and more! Job well done sir.

The upgrade to an 4870 is an obvious choice. I'd go for the EK-acetal.
The copper look will blend in nicely with your motherboard cooling indeed.

Nice touch with the switch! You've convinced me to remove the frontpanel aswell.
There are far better uses for it i've been thinking of..

Your daughter is adorible. Such a sweet and innocent face :)

(nitpicking: Wish there would be a way to remove the Zalman logo from the fancontroller..)
