Haven't heard from you in a while, is the new baby boy taking all your free time? :D
Well I'm writing to ask where did you buy these Microcool Core Protetors, I need them for my new board but it's been 1 month that I lurk around USA for them and can't seam to find them back in stock.
I emailed Microcool couple of weeks ago but looks like they are dead, no response.

how did you find the thickness of the powdercoat? And how did you stop it from going in the screw threads?
I just got my case powdercoated while I was getting my rims done. Its a metallic color with clear. The parts all fit really tightly because of the thickness of the paint. Did you have this issue?

no issue with mine vinister. the coat was of manageable thickness. the screw threads were still fine and easy to screw stuff together. i didn't do any preventive measure though... but i read somewhere that you can put in screws (that you can spare) on the holes when you send for powdercoating so that the paint won't go in the threads.Quote:
