Ok, I'm in the process of getting the /b rev of the board and a couple of b3 barcas. It will take a copule of months though as I can't spend that much money in a month. (My wife would kill me!! :D )
You volt modded your board didn't you?
Edit: I'm aiming for the 2350's though. Getting 8 cores to 2,7/2,8GHz would be VERY nice chrunch wise :D
no volt mods needed yet
hey likmark when you start your build use these to give you more htt head room over ddr667

Thanks for the heads up msimax. I'm going for 2*2gb 800Mhz modules. Bought a barcy today, seller said it was a b3, but im pretty sure it is a b2. well well. I'm gonna put a couple of Shanghais into it anyways when they comes. Didn't get the board though so now I'll have to buy a brand new one, and there is no one selling them in Norway.. ebay shop here i come..
Brr.. Nice temps BTW :D
been getting bored lately waiting for my board to come back from rma so i got something to kill time. I might get a 9850 friday to play with

Wich board is it? K9a2 plat? The board coldbugging or cpu?
BTW will you get a WS or a WS/B board back from rma? Read about one guy getting a WS/B back for his FX's. You think you could use WS bios on WS/B board and vice versa? I've heard somone say that the WS/B board supports split plane for Opterons, but I can't get it confirmed.
its a platinum board and if they send a ws/b its ok if it has a socket bios then i can swap bios on the fly
edit- the chip is coldbugged
i thought they just ship you another board out of the junk box so i had hopes of getting one with a socket bios
i just picked up a 6000+ ccb8f 0751 apmw gonna test it tonite see what it do.
gas is to high to be driving with no where to go so im going to abuse this chip all weekend:rofl:
this stepping is good for gaming and screenies but sucks for stability test.
