Congrats on the WR.

But with a record as significant as SuperPi 1M, nobody is above verification. I don't care if Jesus himself posts an 8.5, healthy skepticism is a good thing on the Internet (for my part, I don't doubt him at all, but the whiny phanboys defending him are just too obnoxious).

The day you think anyone is above proving himself, that's the day you become a phanboy.

FWIW, I think most of the doubters are trying to psych OPB into revealing his tricks, and I say, good! :lol:

BTW, not willing to read 10 pages, what RAM did OPB use?

Certainly not but you can use the checksum in the very first post if you dont believe it. Thats as far as things needed to go.

I started an optimization file (not finished) with some tweaks, available there
for an 1M run luna.theme + prefetcher=1 is better than a copy waza, I'm sure :)

Yes, you don't rant for 5 pages and then ask for a checksum that was in the first post :p:

But maybe the italians have been smarter than all of us and they only wanted hints (but again, ONLY if that was the case, I don't know if that's a good way of doing things in a team looking for a WR :stick:)

two varibles you can take the consideration and try:
ConservativeSwapfileUsage and MinTimeSlice;)

first of all, I am only by muself, when the moment I ready to do 1m, I need to wait for the pot 's minimum temp which can stand for the speed I set and now add the proper LN2 for system to run the 1m, can't be too much, otherwise, it will be freeze after you finish the run. and ok, now is the problem, I use DSLR, when the timing I power on my Camera and have focus on, (also it's not normal object, so it's hard to give the focus and everything.)
sometimes the 1m already done for running. That's why I said I need several hands. Actually I got several times sub-9s, but when I was ready to capture the screeny, it got freeze due to the temp has raised already....Play LN2 is DAMN hard...lol

but it's linked to win386.swp (win 9X and ME), for XP, 2k, 2k3 the swap file is pagefile.sys, we can always try that

Some don't realize we're talking of LESS than 9 seconds. What do they want 5 camera stills like in a 32M run? :stick:
