AndreYang has a pic showing the OVP mod. Without this mod, you won't get more VCore.

VR-Zone has Vmem and VMCH pencil mods

You rock thanks!!
Hey cant that resitor be penciled to decrease the resistance?
Or bypassed with an adjustable 10k pot ... hmm does that 5K mean it needs a 5k pot?
I got this version last week.
It is BY FAR the best C2D motherboard I have tried.
I previously tested the P5B-D, DH, P5WG2-WS Pro and an ABIT A89.
This one is superior, by a large margin.

--edit-- I have the same one as you...aamsel ;)
What multiplier did you hit 460 with, that won't hit 470?
Are you sure that this motherboard is limiting your o/c?
Yes, they overvolt this board to compensate for vDroop, but it is IMHO very stable, at least the one I have is. With about 4 E6600's I have tried, I had not hit above 385 with any C2D mobo with standard 9X multiplier. With this P5W64 I hit 400 without a problem. However, 3600MHz is about "all she wrote" for my current week 28 chip at 9X (or any multiplier below that).

I hit 460 wall too on my 6400 no matter how much vmch i put.. vmod to run at 2.0-2.1 still cant go higher. Worst anything higher than 1.95v, i will got failed overclock from startup.
Mobo didn't post over 1,95V Vmch - You must boot @ 1,90-1,95 and go higher when running :DQuote:

I have another issue with this mobo...but nothing to concern about (I hope) ;) I have set the VCORE in BIOS to 1.400v and clocked to 3.5ghz....CPUz and ather windows tools shows 1.45V...than I have set VCORE to 1.375V and CPUz shows 1.424V...but when I clocked my C2D to 3.4ghz with VCORE 1.400V CPUz shows 1.380V...

gosh!...i would be delighted with 460 FSB!...i can't get over 375 FSB at 10x or 400 at 9x (same at lower multi's) with my retail E6700 on the P5WDG2 WS pro board.Quote:

Maybe its just the x6800 running into problems also note that I did not remove the stock chipset passive cooling yet. I will be trying some other configs out this weekend and adding better chipset cooling... dont get me wrong the board is very good but I have now purchased the following:
1 - P5B Deluxe
1 - P5W Deluxe (vMch 1.65)
1 - P5W Deluxe (vMCH 1.85)
1 - P5W64 Pro (vMCH 1.8)
and from what I am seeing so far the best mobo if modded for vDroop is the P5B Deluxe with that board I had no problem at all with the higher FSB's but I was limited with by the vDroop.
I tried almost all of 'em, and I like this one:) .......http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...8&postcount=10

This was my best run:

@sdumper
Have you tried using 11 multiplier instead of 10? I think x11 with 4:5 ratio will give you very good results.
With 460-470FSB, you are pretty much forced to run 1:1 with this board. The boost you get in memory speed at 4:5 will make up for lower FSB.
Ill give it a try tonight ... my Chilly is acting up a bit to so my temps may be a tad higher than needed. Hopefully my modded Mach II will be ready soon and temps wont be a concern anymore.Quote:

Most of them have short life with phase. I am testing a newly repaired cascade with better insulation on 975X mobo.
Cascade still needs tuning for better load delta temps.
