Core Temp is the most accurate software for reading the temperature. BIOS and programs taht read the temp thru the bios are meh....Quote:

I have tired F4C, F4E and the F4 bios on Gigabytes website and all are a no go....

Just to let everyone know... I just quickly put my DS3 BIOS F2 rev 1.0 together with some Team D9 (the 3-3-3-8 stuff) and a Celeron D 326 - it posted without issues.
I wish Qflash recognized my USB floppy though :( had to dig up an old internal one. Flashed to F4.
Those stock Intel coolers are pretty hard to mount... Had to apply quite a bit of force for the last pin.

I just attached a 50mm fan to my DS3 NB with super glue. I couldn't find any hot glue or screws to fit so do you think this will be ok? It gets stupid burning my finger hot and i don't know how super glue will react to the heat. I did it anyway though. lol
I've been attaching heatsinks using super glue for many years and very few have ever come loose. It's not the best choice but it does the job in a pinch. I also super-glued a 50mm fan on my DS3's NB HS and plan to put a 40mm on the SB HS or maybe just a better HS. The fan lowered my NB temp by about 7C.Quote:

What kinda Power Supply? Did you disable all of the things suggested on page 1? (assuming you have, but checking for clarity's sake) What voltage settings you have on RAM and Vmch? Also, the dividers are really flaky. I just stick with 1:1 since half of them crap out under any sort of adjustments.

When TM2 is disabled in the bios, there shouldn't be throttle any more?
With my celeron, I've always throttle even if I've disabled it.

This is a noob question;
Anyone know of a tutorial to updating the bios to F4 Official? Is it possible to use the methods in the manual? (Q Flash and @bios)
