hmmmmmmm....2 out of 3 say its ok...what is wrong with you, linflas!:D
guess I just got unlucky, had a microphone glitch through the front panel of my platinum, could not make it work, a slot switch fixed it, not sure if I was just being lazy, and did not trouble shoot, was weeks ago now
don't feel like swapping cards now, as I am too lazy
everything works great now, so, as usual, will leave well enough alone :)
There's one other thing about those pci-x slots, not all pci cards will fit... My X-Plosion sound card doesn't have the tab cut-out and won't fit in there.
Saw this on another forum, anyone have any idea what it is for?Quote:
There is a Windows Hotfix for dual core cpu's (SP2), to make them work more reliably (microsoft hasn't publicly made this file available for download so here is some links to it; http://www.amdzone.com/files/WinXPdualcorehotfix.exe
Exited a new bios?

from what I read this helps address the problem of amd dual core not having syncronized core speed among the cores,so by defualt xp will tend to put all load on one core
many people do not realize that Intel and Microsoft have worked closely together over the years on improving their operating systems.

I just run 4-5 at 400+/500+Quote:

The stable maximum of FSB for my card motherbord to air is:

i'm getting tired of not being able to run various ram kits
not even at their default timmings (manually set..)
@#$% auto setting sets everything @ 5-6-6-18....
0408 or 0005 both work fine for the ram, try them first, stay away from 0502, it is unstable
indeed 502 seemed less stable than the others.. :up:Quote:

Second. No problems yet.Quote:
