Hipro,
I see you said the VTT is not needed for the DFI Nf4 series. It is though. If you havent seen this thread you might want to. So, is there a way to make the VTT run off the maximizer?
Hipro,
I see you said the VTT is not needed for the DFI Nf4 series. It is though. If you havent seen this thread you might want to. So, is there a way to make the VTT run off the maximizer?
so would it be safe to assume that the maximizer will work in any board that the ocz booster will?
yes.Quote:

well the maximizer is compatible on alot of board the booster is not, so just curious.
Christmas?:stick: :(
...
No I meant Xmas 2008:mad:
You guys don't know what kind of problems do I encode with this, so it's better not to say much....
You think that I do not want to finish it and fullfill one of my dreams?...
I'll update when nessesary...
starting a company is always hard bro... you've earned plenty of support round here though man. and there's always going to be demand for something like this that supports any memory standardQuote:

I know you are working hard, and i really hope that your company works out for you.
It's OK......You are right guys and I just can't do anything about it to make it faster......It's not in my hands to do so......I'm waiting for others to finish some things first so as to start packaging.....I can't do anything about this to make is faster......:(
hipro,
if you dont already hav a distributor in NZ i would be more than happy to do it for you through my company... let me know if you are interested
good luck
Things seem to be getting a little "tense" to say the least.
Hipro will be able to release his product when its finished & for what ever reasons delay the release date, Just remember, it's not Hipros fault.
The bullsh*t everyone encounters or encodes (;)) in setting up a company like this is so deep, alot of people have absolutely no idea. Due to some peoples innocent ignorance to this, Perhaps this is an ideal post slot to say:
NO MORE QUESTIONS ON RELEASE DATE!
Hipro is under enough pressure getting this shipped without having to deal with a pile of pooped up questions about the release date. We all know he's made it, ....now leave him alone to stay focused.
All the best Hipro & good luck some more bud. Im gonna have a nother Beer for ya! :toast2:

yummie.:) :slobber:
nice hypro!!
Excellent the day is soon here.
These will be very nice addition to my comp
cmon guys give the man a break, awsome product and ive been following it for a long time, i would rather wait another year for it than to have him take after DFI and release a product that will eat up your hardware
nice i like the led's.
i agree with you guys, in the let it happen when it can happen..
Hes not god and cant just magically make things happen..
This is gonna be a totally awesome release when it arrives, and I know there will be alot of happy campers here with it..
Awesome work Hipro, its lookin sweet bro..
ehh, if he makes 5 of them cool, he should stick to inventing new things where he does best. assembling mass quanities and business is for companies.
just make the stuff, patent it and sell the idea to a company that can make it on a market level.
kinda like cathar did with the storm waterblock. for hipro5 to waste his time in any type of mass producing ideas or plans is just that, a waste of time.
your way too talented to let business bog down your creativity.
Yeah give to DFI to make, can burn down all our houses :eek:Quote:

yes this is very true and i cant disagree with it. but its not what i want though:slapass: i want him to just keep creating this cool stuff and not worry about sales.Quote:

haha, i hope it was mushkin that contacted you, that would be quite funny.
It could well have been DFI. Apparently, they are into catching fire thesedays!
Keep on trucking Hipro & Paddle your own Canoe m8y!
Thanks guys.......:)
Please don't speculate........I can't say........Thanks......:)
sorry hipro..
good luck!
Hipro. have you found out if this works with the ASUS A8V Deluxe rev. 2.0 yet? Thanks.
Wow man, if i understood correctly, the maximizer will provide the vdimm and the mobo will be free from this heavy task ! One less bottleneck for the xtreme OCer and one less possible source of instability/heat/problems. And it can do so after the system is already stabilized at windows :D . (correct me if im wrong =P) This is not something that will just make Vmods not needed...its MUCH more ! Good luck Hipro, i hope u will do well.
just sitting here waiting paitiently on my Maxamizer :)
i hope the ship out soon Hippro
niiiiceeee.....a greek booster (sorry...maximizer..:D)
but IMHO best thing is that your efforts will be turned in mass production...that's the final word of all experimental jobs....great dude !
my guess is june :)
yes I think you're right. With this maximizer u wouldnt need a vcore bump when running 3.0+ vdimm. The a64 memctrler doesnt get affected and that's a good thing.Quote:

Its not about taking load off of the mobo, its about dealing with poor circuit design on mobo's. The maximizer is capable of providing alot more power then most mobos and a more stable vdimm as well.
BTW Hipro, what is that 2-phase power? im no EE so im just guessing by amount of fets/coils.
. . . . this to work with AMD OR Intel, correct????

i wonder how a person will go about buying one in canada
Very Nice Hipro.. So how much longer before you make avalible in the states?
:D looking good hipro.
Looks great Hipro, i hope to have one soon :D
Lot's of the new mobos out have vdimm voltages of 3.2V+ ... :( That's going to shrink the market for this gizmo pretty quick if it ever hit's the shelves.

I know the FX guys will be all over this, and IIm sure asrock owners will be greatfull because of low Vdimm options, I still wish Hi all the luck in the world and cant wait to see what he comes off the shelves with next, and will stay subscribed here until the day it releases..
Im really pushing hipro to get ready the first final maximizer for me ;) will post a nice video as soon as i get it (like changing vdimm inside windows)
Now that's something I'd definately pay for ;)Quote:

here you go, check how Vdimm is changed from 3.61V to 3.71V ;)
notice how DFI reports incorrectly Vdimm!!! almost 0.8V from real Vdimm (as seen on maximizer).
gorillakos laughing in the backround
(btw i think im keeping this maximizer right hipro? :hrhr: )
That they do! I soldered a wire to the vdimm measure on my Ultra-D and it always read at least .07V higher than what was set in BIOS and what was being read from the sensors
Finaly where gone have a go with the MAX,nice work Hipro:toast: :toast: .
Hipro any change of having a R@H version for the team;) :p:  :slobber: .

The final PCB looks so nice!!
You said that there will be a Limited Edition or a Deluxe one. My suggestion goes here, could it be possible for you to make the limited edition use Low-ESR and 105ºC electrolitic caps, at least for the power circuitry??
It will be so good and also a very good reason (along with the chokes and a well designed pcb) for the "clean power" statement.
Congrats for this excellent project.
Man! I just spent well over an hour reading through all this, and I have to say your dedication to your work is inspiring. Very good job. I am very very impressed to say the least. Keep up the good work, and add another person to the Opening Day sale list =) Great job! The blue LED ones are sooo sexy.
Don't really need one now I have my DFI (3.3v jumper trick <3) :( But I'll definately be buying one anyway. What are they going to be priced like? Sorry if this has been answered already a page or two back but I'm honestly too lazy to look now.. Now hurry up and get these beauties on sale :D
Was just rereading this thread and came upon this, that is true, but how many boards have clean power like this thing will have? Or have the ability to fully adjust vdimm? (perhaps exception of the CFX3200). With the ability to fine tune vdimm (and the clean power) higher clocks will be achieved. My expert woefully undervolts my memory and I highly doubt its stability, I would love to give one of these things a go :PQuote:

I hadn't checked on this in quite awhile...nice to see that it's getting closer and closer to completion.
how about some final PCB pics?

I don't know if you noticed that your post was # 1,001.
Soon, with the DDR Maximizer in hand, we can start on the second 1,000...posting excellent results, I suspect. :D
