Though I may have been a member here for a year or so, I haven't been such a prominent poster as you can tell. Ive been crunching ( when I can) for a bit now, as I move countries a lot and other factors. I've contributed 67k points to XS WCG and a bit for Milkyway too. I was running an I7-860 and now I have a 2600k 560TI system crunching. I know about about WCG now but surely not all, after looking at the team points thread, I had a question. When less members crunch, the team loses points for that day?

Depends generally around 8500 - 9000 ppd but watch the temps, as my temps rise drops to 8000 - 8500. I just need to find a more efficient way to keep lower ambient temps :shrug:

Hi all! Thanks for the warm welcome! Yup, Blake is the one who referred me. Going full tilt 100% on cpu usage. Still new to all this. I figure, I'm not much of a gamer, and this i7 2600K needs some love and I need some warmth (Winter is coming!) so.. I might as well let this thing generate heat! This is a nice machine. as i've mentioned previously, its a i7 2600K MSI Z68A-GD65 16G ram, 500G SATA (Seagate? not sure.) and currently GT240. Still need to get a nice graphics card. Other than that, its almost complete. Liquid cooled Corsair H50. temps at 48C-54C @100% usage.

And you're not a gamer? It might be time to purchase BF3!
