To guys running crossfired 5870's - how do you get them to scale in Vantage? I always get the same score with single, two, three and four cards :( tried different drivers, no luck.

I haven't tested it past 1066mhz at 5-5-5-15 2T. I had the Dominator GT ram fans blowing on the modules by the way...
For some reason it just didn't want to run over 5.2ghz. It will boot and run good at 5.15 and run up to 5.2 sometimes but didn't go over that, even for a second with the Windows tuner.
Are you suggesting that the MCH core voltage at 1.8 might be tripping the motherboard?
I ran the same settings on another UD3P but I do understand that different mobos can need slightly different voltages to run the same clocks....

The CPU should be good for some serious clocks on DICE or LN2 if it keeps scaling like that, in case it doesn't have an early coldbug.
Please edit your AM3 screenshot, you need system info in it, in its current form it will get blocked sooner or later.

I make my AM3 screenshots with fraps. When run is finished, do ctrl+alt+del, run fraps, alt+tab back into am3, take a screen.
I had similar problems with vista, i ended up just deleting direcpll.dll in AQ3 program folder. Solved it for me. Great scores by the way:up:Quote:

Well my motherboard prep line is done.....5 more boards prepped and ready to go....Need to chase a few small points on phase today I think.....Ln2 tommorow.

At first of course the major contributor of this weekend, Bill and his 5GHz i7 960 with 3 5870s, scoring 172k in 03, 34k in 06, 37k in Vantage and 364k in AM3!
Next one is Hondacity pushing over 31k in 06 with a single GTX 295!
Then we have contributions by two members who do not post regularly, but it seems they do not forget about hwbot! :up:
Raiderman gets a nice golden cup in the Turion II X2 500 category, and Skinnee, most of the time found lurking in the WCG section of this forum, ran WPrime on his W3580 at 4.5Ghz on water.
Last but not least there are Brian's scores for the Athlon II X4 620 category, where he manages to get quite a few cups and medals.

Ok knocked out an 03 single guys albeit it sux ( think my win 7 install is hosed ) and impoved a couple other results + tossed an aquamark in there.....tired now off to bed....

Your AM3 score isn't as high as it should be. You need to run AM3 in XP. It doesn't work well at all in Vista or W7.... :eek:Quote:

Testing a P4 524 chip on my EP45-UD3P and the motherboard SEVERELY limits me as expected... :cry:
I got it up to 4.8ghz for the Wprime 32M and 4.7 for pifast and superpi. The ram runs really slow and it will not boot when I set it to a different divider...
The highest CPU vcore available is 1.40v so its running pretty well considering... :rolleyes:
The others on HWBot have different motherboards and are running 1.8v.... I need to get some other motherboard for this chip and my e8600 to get the most out of them! :D
Suggestions? Might I need two motherboards, like the Rampage Extreme X48 for the e8600 and the Asus Commando P965 for the P4 chip?
Still going to try hard and get some decent submissions with the P4 and will post them later today.....
Have 6th place P4 at 4.8ghz in Wprime 32M with 1.4v :rofl:
Also got an 8400GS to test with the e8600 later, hopefully I can get some good marks with that.........

Back then, I was a very active member of tualatin.de - a small german forum dedicated to S370 CPUs and overclocking. Nowhere on the web is there a more comprehensive and detailed database on all there is to know about mods etc regarding S370. I left a while ago, and can't really remember too many details - I do remember we were all using ram made by a company named MCI. It was rated PC150 CL2 and could do over 200 on suicide runs.

LN2 partehh is pretty much over, nothing but troubles really. couldnt do pi_fast either, my gpu drivers were bugging, didnt had some microsoft crap 2.0 tool installed, so it wouldnt run, so same crappy score for pi_fast. i did manage tot get a 'okish' 32M run out, atleast with triple channel, bit higher uncore ( which also prevented me from running 5.4ghz, so that was a limit )
and 'mild' tweaking on the ram, was to affraid i'd mess it up, with only a few more liters left :P

Drivers might not be the greatest in hybrid but multi card results are better than No multicard results. Just try to match the clocks on all cards as they will get downclocked to the lower denominator anyway.Quote:
