Where's guys in 2nd or 4th SuperPI 32M?
http://www.oc-arena.com/IMimages/RegisterScore-P2.jpg
Congrats guys in North America. Guess I got 4th on air.. Freaking Airgas :(
Hi there mate,
If I'm not mistaken, I got the 2nd Place in SuperPI with 6m55.141s, and placed 3rd in Vantage with P42375, so my total point is about 19(13 pts SPi + 6 Pts vantage)
What I don't understand is My sensei Hazzan got null score, they said it was due to late submission. But I believe he Scored 6m55.3xx on SPi 32M, and P45xxx on Vantage.
Fortunately though, My buddy Ekky decided to take Hazzan as his Partner, so they are both going to the final
Yea I agree it's a bit sad to be kinda left out :(Quote:
They are either each from Indonesia and SG or both from ID but since only 1 guy from each country hence they were left out sadly,
But then again, rules are rules
And if I look it from different perspective, it's actually my fault not getting the first place, the qualifier is meant to qualify people who's BEST, right? :)
All in all, I just want to say congratulations again for everyone who's been qualified, you deserve the Final Battle in Beijing
* Btw, I'm just hoping MSI were serious about inviting me as guest :D *
I dont know MSI not recieved my submit score ..I send my score via email..July 29 2009 15.30 AM...:(:(

Congrats guys in North America. Guess I got 4th on air.. Freaking Airgas
yeah...seems me and hazzan will have the same score if his email recieved by moateam.... coz he won @vantage
but still hazzan and me will be partner... it doesnt really matter....
Now the really matter is visa...have to apply a.s.a.p..... wish there will be no problem with visa stuff...

The Swedes'll probably land 09:55 in Beijing on the 28th. Dunno, but I somehow suppose the finns have the same flight, especially since we will fly via Helsinki.
Yes.. the flights are the same. Luckily the flight is only 7 hours and 45 minutes.
Hopefully we will get a chance to go to great wall etc. We have to do some plans for Monday 31st and Tueasday 1st of September.

ah thats great
finally at least one manufacturer that did south american qualifying
thats good to see
Guys, as far as I can see, the VGPU controller on the GTX275 you'll be using is the same uP6208 as in the EU finals (probably the rest as well?) :)
is UP6206 :).
Thank you mate
Question : Will there be a live broadcast from the final or just "nothing" like in the Münich qualifiers ... (that by the way was too bad for us), Trouffman will there be internet connection in Beijing ?
i hope they bring Wi-Fi i want make live broadcasting for my Friends :)
Technically yes, but it's possible that the PCB design is a bit different from the GTX260 (hipro's modifications). So what you need to do is to re-measure everything.
The vmem ic is the uP6205B; FB is pin 8 and there's a soldering point very near, almost next to the pin.
As for the Vgpu: the hardmod will indeed work, but you'll have OVP no doubt. I hope MSI lets you use the utility Snot_aap coded for the GTX260 as it should work on the GTX275 as well. Then you have no OVP and are able to set the Vgpu upto 1.6 through the VID table.
oh damn
that would be awesome
i dont see why they wouldnt let us use it as long as everyone had it cause they are trying to show off their 10phase pwm GPU design afterall and what better way to do it then let ppl unleash these mofos with an LN2 pot and 1.6v through the core :D (i would love to see 2v through the core though :D haha) remembers doing that on air coolin with that 8400GS haha hey massman
watch out for some 1200Mhz core benchmarks MSI hahaha
Would be cool to see MSI remove the OVP completely and add two trimmers to the cards for Vgpu and Vmem, only for the competition :D.
if you want to bench at 1200mhz core, you better play safe with the voltage ;)
those gt200b gpu's don't scale with voltage like other gpu's do ( yes 8400gs... i had one of those too :p:)
it will indeed be great to see how that 10phase pwm performs. The pwm on the GTX260 lightning did a reallly good job, we had no problem benching at nearly 1100mhz core on the GTX260 lightning, stock card, without any vmods at all :D
however, the Polish guys already proved that its not only about massive core clocks :)
heheh in that case we better leave you at home then :p:
either way... you have to be punished for putting up a signature like that :D

Press Release
August 21th, 2009
An Overclocker's Olympics!
MSI’s MOA Global Overclocking Final Competition to be Held in Beijing
[Taipei - Taiwan] World renown mainboard and graphics card manufacturer, MSI, has been solidifying a solid reputation in the overclocking market for years. The company is also the host of the Master Overclocking Arena (MOA) Global Overclocking Event, which gathers the world's best overclockers together in one fierce competition. Expanding upon 2008's overclocking enthusiasm, this year’s MOA 2009 featured three months of regional competitions designed to filter out the best of the best. In the end, 20 teams representing the best overclocking talent from around the world will meet in the Olympic capital, Beijing, on August 29, in the head-to-head Olympics of overclocking.
This year, MSI's MOA 2009 event is even bigger than before, and selected a truly international crowd of participants from over 64 countries! Since May, MSI has been holding both online and local area selections, and, after three months of grueling matches, 20 teams representing 17 countries have been selected – including the Beijing overclocking champs. The participants this year have shown stratospheric levels of talent, with such pros as Poland's Ryba and Chaos who broke the 3DMark 03 world record during the European selection match. Taiwan's Nick and Kevin made a name for themselves when they broke the 3DMark 06 world record at software giant Futuremark's LOC online overclocking competition. Another person the multi-national overclocking championship could not do without, Taiwan's own Coolaler (Fang Bin Luo), who himself holds many world records and attended last year's MOA as a model gamer, will be representing the overclocking site, Coolaler, to cover all the action of the overclocking challenge. Indonesia's Ekky will be back to defend his crown as the MOA Champion. From the United States, Charles is an experienced overclocking competition participant, while Brazil's Ronaldo is the number one overclocker in all of Brazil. When China's online selection is over, the results will be announced on August 27 and two teams will be selected to take part in the August 29 event. Without a doubt, MOA 2009's level of competitiveness is comparable to the Olympics - excellence is expected.
During the MOA 2009, participants will use the MSI Eclipse SLI mainboard and the MSI N275GTX graphics card to test the limits of the Intel Core i7 platform. MSI is fully confident that the equipment will perform outstandingly in both overclocking capabilities and range of combinations. The event will not only let the overclocking experts tryout MSI's mainboard and graphics card performance, but will help them in their quest to reach new overclocking heights! For all those with an interest in overclocking, August 29 will be date that is not to be missed.

artkobe - which money are best for shopping in China? US Dollars, EURO or Chinese Juans? Thanks
Anyone have extra/no longer used Acard ANS-9010? I have extra E8600 Q822A435 if someone is interested trading/buying :)
I am going to Beijing....and i did mod a video card (vmod to 1.6V). to the MOA's final
The problem.
I used Riva tuner 2.24C to increase GPU and mem, but this only works linked (GPU + Shader).
I did try all options, but its impossible to unlink the GPU and the shaders (Riva don t work unlinked)
If someone haves some inormation to do it i wll apreciate so much.
Thanks for all
Drove a total of 3h30 to pick my visum which in itself costs me 5 minutes ...
