7900GTX is here!! (Pics + Benchies)
well i got my eVGA 7900GTX EGS yesterday from step-up (7800gtx 256mb before).... paid $70 cdn with shipping + $75 customs (which i need to get back after i talk to canada customs).... entire process took 4-5 weeks (was without card for ~2 weeks).... well i installed it and heres some results.... so when it says OC it means whatever the overclock that i had for that card unless otherwise specified.... the results look good and normal except for 3dmark05.... i cant figure it out but it should be at least 11k... ive used both 84.25's and 84.43's with drivercleaner... ive reinstalled 3dmark05 and even disabled background processes... ive also tried pcie frequency at 110mhz and it did not help at all in terms of overclock or 3dmark05... all other games/benchmarks show a proper increase from the overclock... i dont think its the card throttling and yes ive set to high performance and i have dx9.0c april... 7800gtx worked fine with it and i havent touched the system until my new card arrived
