Doesn't really show anything. I can make a website...list 30 processors that are yet to be tested and you'd think "they're coming".Quote:

a very tempting price to bring people to AM2Quote:

neat , i wouldnt mind getting a sempron. but we need to wait and see wht mobos are coming out. We are seeing proc tests and stuff but no real world news about motherboards.
I think the 1st 5 are retail BOX and the 2nd 5 are OEM cpu.Quote:

Maybe low voltage versions?
hopefully its the low power versions. actually, it makes sense that theyre the low power versions cause amd stopped selling oem processors, at least officially.
Current 939 OEM's are more expensive than retail box.. only reason to buy is if you know it's gonna be a good stepping, or you get a coupon like monarch does
Excuse my noobness, but these AM2 semprons are dual-channel ?
Not a bad question.Quote:

by how much depends on the CPU the more expensive the CPu the bigger the difrence.
Example:
a X2 3800+ tray is 38 euro cheaper then the boxed.
about half a year ago overhere OEMs were also more expensive then BOX but last few months it has changed.
@Tonucci
dunno if it has changed but asfar as i know socket 939 Smeprons are only used by the larger OEMs and arent sold in stores (ul only fidn em in HP PCs etc)
I wanna see some better performance from them befors I get on the wagon..
m not all that impressed from them as of yet..
Maybe they got the part codes mixed up so all the OEMs were listed as BOX
well...juz signs dat AMD wana compete with conroe ASAP imo...
