My self made EMP-K2 SS, CPU LDBHE 0601.
:toast:
i think for a WR it needs to be cpuz validated because my 3800x2 will do that but crashes on validation :nono:
:woot:
that's what i call insane!!
congrats on that WR
:toast:
schweet, yah validate it though if at all possible..
this is xtreme systems though a shot might just have to do if its all you can do,,
Lets see a max stable 1M, or 3dM
3d or dual pi? :(
:banana::banana::banana::banana:ing insane! i'm trying to hit 3.0GHz so i can get a CPU score of 2000 on 3dmark06 :)
i'm almost there tho!!!
 My 4200+ @ 2.7ghz gets just over 2000 in 3dmark06...Quote:

Thats some crazy volts but nice wr, validation as mentioned already is required to make it official i believe.
even with F5/F7 trick?Quote:

I keep reading people say A64's will have shorter lives blah blah blah with higher voltage, but I really just don't think at this level its true. Its cooled well enough number one. And number two, I've pushed that through a few chips. The computer Im typing on has been on for three months (with no slowdown at all might i add...linux is so good :) ) and its been running at 1.75 volts for 10 months now.
Edit...maybe with crappy cooling it hurts, but i dunno. Im not trying to say you are wrong necessarily, but I have put high volts through my chips and my friends have also. I almost wonder if when some of these chips die out at higher volts its because of either a) heat or b) some motherboard or power supply bug/failure/spike....who really knows though
10x guyz :toast:
I run 2k6 @ 3.2 with my x1800xt and got 5300pts, with out the dual core i get 4k~
I got the cpu for one night to test.... so thats it 4 now :|
anyway those dual core at high vcore realy push the SS to the limit.... and beyond, when running dual prime @ high vcore the SS evap temp will rise slowly and at a certen point (when the evap gets up to -28C~(!)) the cpu will crush...
My SS is built of chilly1 evap, 0.31" 2.90m cap tube, r507a and nl11f.
SS killer :toast:
No validation = No WR as far as I know.......
u can check the wr db and see that there r ss wr...
but valid cpuz is the logical way to go, the cpu is not under my ss any more so nothing i can do 4 now, maybe next time.
What were the core temp on full load?
Who's cpu is it since you have to borrow it?
Is it a N or a T chip?
Hmmm, with CPU-Z validation hard to say......
it's a T, TPEWQuote:

very interesting, cool.
Congrats on the WR! :toast: :toast:

He have been added to the WR thread now, so guess it's officialQuote:
