Time to move on from old school mr. brazed mousepot to a solid tube. I didn't machine it myself, but I did provide the dimensions. :woot: Tube is 7 inch, with an add on piece (that I will test to see if it does anything extra).

Tube is about 60mm in diameter, thats what 2 1/4 inch or so? The extension is just to make the unit a little bigger, I will test temps with and without the top part to see if it does anything. In my past dice sessions I found it was optimal to monitor the dice level closely and keep about 3-4 inches of crushed inside so I wont be filling to the top. Fabricated a hold down and cut and fit the insulation last night (thanks for the cutting board suggestion G H Z), it looks a little more ghetto or home made than the really nice kits out there but hey its my first try! :D
