hey guys, as per title, which wud u guys go for?

Best Idea is search for the cheapest 7900 GTS, PNY do some very cheap ones SLI them & then buy some new VGA heatsinks and OC them.
well i wud prefer to get either a 7900GTX or a 1900XTX cuz i can get pretty good prices on them.
hope u guys can share ur point of view
X1900XTX... better image quality, HDR + AA, HQ AF, AVIVO and performance that at least matches the 7900GTX.
yup.. from reviews if AA/IQ + high resolution 1600x1200 and higher is what you want = X1900XTX, lower resolutions or benchmarking futuremark apps = 7900GTXQuote:

X1900XTX is a better card. Nvidia themselves admitted that in a meeting to shareholders.
Again  If you have an Nf4 rig now and wish to upgrade down the road, its the 7900GT for an SLI setup, but for a single card setup, there is no subsitute to the X1900XTX....the first and only card to
- Break 55k in 3dmark01
- Break 13k On Air in 05
- Break 14k Single Card in 05
- Break 15k Single Card in 05
- And has the current single card WR in 05 at 16.5k (Kinc)

I am sticking with my x1900XTX...I am very pleased with it and I am using a nF4 Ultra-D board. Down the road I may go CrossFire...but for gaming there is no need for it...
for games no doubt X1900XTX its better
I can run CoD2 full spec at 1280x1024 no problem at all...So I really don't see the need of upgrading anytime soon...
I have an xtx and was wondering if switching to 7900gt sli would be a bad idea? I think because im still runing a single core CPU, that is one reason to not make the switch, and I think the IQ would be slightly worse but FPS??? I need to see some 7900gt SLI benches.

k guys thanks for ur replies...
beacuse im running on a NF4 mobo, may consider the 7900GT over the 1900XTX...
what do u guys think? shud i stick to a single or dual card setup?
I believe XFX has the best deal 7900GT right now.
Though I recommended some to buy the eVGA GT with 500/1500 for $320....Later last night XFX upped the ante on Newegg with a card clocked at 520/1500 (stock is 430/1300 ;) ) for $315 !!!

well i think i cant buy it from newegg, coz im in malaysia..
they dun ship internationally
lol :p well....at least you know which brand to buy :)
Plus buying a GT cos you have an nf4 chipset is a perfectly plausible reason...seeing as an ati card with an nf4 board just doesnt sound all that great.
G/L and let us know about performance darksythe :)

Rd550 or rd580 + x1900xtx (2 of em, no crossfire card)
thanks alot guys.
how i wish they cud ship it to malaysia...
ah well, i hope to see a significant diff with the new cards :)
ask some of the members here and see if they'll do it for u ;)
hey thre is a great idea.
babyelf in ur view... which is better, a 1900XTX or a 7900GT in SLI?
i think one x1900xtx is good enough for ur 2405 ;)
jsut a quick question, how far is a pair of 7900GT's ahead of 1900XTX?
kinc doesent have the WR in single card anymore, overklokk has it now i think
I think it depends on whos OC'ing and what has been done. a pair of 7900gts has much more potential in 3dmark, they can easily break 15k in 3d05. but an xtx is no much further behind, and still cost less then 2 7900's, about $100.00 less. Plus a lot would agree the IQ is better with the xtx.Quote:
