I have searched and searched but can not find any reviews on this at all. I want to know how these compare to the Intel stock coolers. I have P4 3.0 GHZ Xeon "nocona" CPU's in my server and want to quiet them down a bit...aweful loud. Xtreme Systems do a review please!!

I think if you read some threads about shuttle PC's you'll find info on it.
XP-90C would be a better way to go probably.
Again I have P4 3.0 GHZ XEON Nocona CPU's (S604) not 478 or 775 chipset . The XP-90C will not work and is not an option. I want to use a heatsink designated for Xeons and not something I have to juryrig.Quote:

You weren't really helping me there. There are few heatseaks made for the xeons compared to other CPU's and that is not one of them. I like the combination above because the fans still move enough air and it is much more quiet than what I am running now. What I want to know is the temperature difference is warrant enough to buy it all.
I think no-one would be bothered enough to buy some heatsink and do a review for some guy. You sound pretty demanding.

You'll get any type of technical answers + help here, if you want to BUY that heatsink send it to someone from XS to make a review for you then by all means go ahead, but that defeats the point doesnt it. I got one of them for my dothan. Decent enough, now it cools one of my Prestonias (other has a 9500 on it), with some decent airflow it's good enough with no directly attached fan. Just have a bottom PSU fan, it needs airflow in that direction.

Id say get a 90C and go to home depot and buy a set of mirror clips to hang mirrors on the wall,,
Flatten them out with a hammer, put backplate on it and make spots where holes will go, drill em out and thats it, viola..
OOOOh wait Xeons have 4 mounting holes dont they,
EDIT: NVM then, 90C rocks dude I know theres a way to mod it to fit, ill mod my 90c forever, for any cpu I own from here on out..

think of making a plexi shroud to go from the one sink, the other, and then to exaust fan? could probably help with case temps a bit, and look pretty sweet.
