I have made a few blocks, and I would like to share some pictures with you.

Have attatched pictures of new version NF4 water block and other stuff.

Good idea for v/reg cooling, I really like it! :toast: What about performance?

Very nice blocks there! Those fittings, are they 1/4" BSP thread? If so, I need to get hold of some of them!

Yes, thread is G1/4".
I like them because they have integrated o-ring and are like DD said high flow fittings. The biggest hole as possible for minimum flow restriction.

Eddy, we should really come up with a more effecient design for the core cooling. What are your thoughts on a high count micro channel that is not wavy?

It would cost more to CNC, but would certainly cool, better and if done right would have a minimal increase in restriction.

I am sure my desing has good cooling performance.
The waved channels increase turbolence and cooling area.

would there be a brass/derlin top version? I'm allergic to plexi tops. after my last..................No Comment.

How can the GTX block be for both for the 256 and 512 version?
DD had to make a serparate 512 block due to some changes ram pad designs...

Anybody who knows the specific difference in mm between the 256 and 512 ram designs?
My mate is making a block for my 512 megs but he only has a 256 megs GTX... And I'm not sending my GTX 512 in the UK mail... 30% of all letters/parcels doesn't reach it correct receiver....

AFIK the mem modules on the 512mb version are larger, and because of that they need a larger surface area for the mem modules for the 512mb version.. It should be the only difference.. The 512MB version also works for the 256MB version..

Eddy, my comment might have come off a little harsh, and if it did, I'm sorry.

While I'm sure that your design is quite effecient, there is always room for improvement, and I deffinetly see a good way to improve performance with your full cover waterblocks.

From the looks of the pictures with comparing the DD X18 block, it's quite difficult as DD's contains acute angles but not as restrictive on the core :)

Is there any comparisons between your work and DD's?

How much do they cost? :)

Of corse I am interessed in approvement, but I think that high count micro channels just makes the block more expensive to make. I think that my full cover water blocks cools better than any other. ;)

It will indeed make it more expensive, but you can never bee too far ahead of the competition.

Couldnt see them at your site yet, so any idea what the prices are ( in €'s ) for normal X1800-model ? If its not too bad ill buy one straight away... been looking for one that can use 1/2" tubes, but really hard to find those in europe ( or they are REALLLY expensive ).

Ps. On the SLI/Crossfire editions, shoudnt the fitting barbs on each side of the block to make the tubing bit easier to route ? Kinda like in this DD pic here... http://www.dangerdenstore.com/files/..._side_800w.jpg ? Ofc your setup allows people to use 2 different cooling circulations for both cards.

Yes, but that is just for motherboard versions with wide gap between pci express slots. And yes it is easyer to route tubing.

Eddy, will there be a new 6800 block now? an all-copper one rather than an alumi/copper mix?

I tink (havent tried yet) that it fits on 6800 series too...
I saw alphacool sels the same block for all 6800 and 7800 graphic cards.

it seems to be very well designed to mount on a 7800 ;)

I like the X800 block. dont see many of those around.
