Heres when it does 150...

And out of the blue after reboot it went to 12Xmulti and back to 150:D

Again reboot and it reverted back to 182....multi set itself to auto in bios:confused:

This reminds me of the 150 opty that dogsx2 has. When I first got the chip is wouldnt even boot. Then when he got it back it booted but said it was a 182 dual core with 256k cache. So this is not the first to do this. Weird..

Looks like you got a cheap cpu to play with.LOL Glad it worked out for you better then it worked out for me. I said it was going to one of the top oc'ers at XS and it needed a sweater. Skill is a wonderful thing, some day I hope to have some.
keep on playing with it , maybe you get a 13 or 14 multi :D
Can you notice any difference it temps when it goes from 150 t0 182?
Is this right. When 150 in some cases it has 256kb cache and some 1024 (sceen 1 has 256???) and it just decides to do whatever it likes when it comes to which one. Also is it showing as single core when its 182. All in all very strange.
I ran it with 1.68-1.71V with cascade and no chane in temp. that is significant.
Wow, crazy CPU, does it the same on "normal" temps ?

"182 for 182" in the For Sale section turned into a very entertaining thread. Freaky CPU! Any idea of what makes it slide from 150 to 182 and back? Can you make it happen at will? "Slight cold bug"? Are you only using a single stage of your dual to keep it at around -24 in the bios?

It will reverted back to 150 after every cold boot and......then I changed (in bios) vcore to 1.475x123%, multi 11x295, and 166 divider and boom:) it back to 182. In windows just adjust clock gen to 3.7Ghz and tune thae cascade to around -85C evap temp.
With heat load it doesn't have cold boot at all and booted to window fine @ 11x295-166 divider:)
will it act as a DC in bench with the optimized drivers ?
