Also, first evidence of ATI"s OFFICIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF NEX GEN RADEON Product Line:

And apparently, the R520 should come standard with it. I just hopes its not another AIW line

Please check back soon for details....I like the sound of that :)
My GF is a ATI FanGirl, and she would kill me if I got the 7800GTX :lol well I'm getting, and I guess you won't be seeing me unless your watching the news lol...Anyways she will not get off the fact that ATI is going down the tube as like Intel with there dual core (IMO) cause they have there cores connected over the FBS and not the rod system like AMD...ATI = teh suck for now, but when the crossfire is utilized then it may be comeing back, but till then it needs to work on those 3.0 SM, and RMD...For now me = AMD / nVidia Fanboy and my gf = AMD / ATI fangirl...I mean comeon you have to pair a long name with a short name :lol
Cooper, this is new info, but on a topic for which a thread is already running ;)

Thx for posting the new info, though. I just hope they have Avivo in mainstream cards :(

Doesn't mean it will be implemented....I think perkam is concerned about these features not making it into non-AIW cards.
Avivo is not AIW.Quote:

More info with pics of a working X1800 XT duel slot cooler and a X1800 XL single clot cooler with 2 30" Apple duel link displays on one card.

Good link...those monitors are beautiful...damn.
Its missing a TV tuner to be a AIW.Quote:

now lets just hope the TV tuner bits don't come standard...Quote:

And they also take up PCB space and are often impossible to fashion a cascade to (the card in general). I'd rather have more power circuitry and have external dongles optional.
If I had one I would absolutely not use it....my 2405fpw has composite (yuck, but good enough for TV) for TV (I use a VCR/DVD combo player to translate--a Comcast tuner was more expensive).
I have a $150 PCI tuner Card I think that will take care of all my TV needs.. it's just wasted space on a graphics card...
