what a sad day...
I can't find any P4P800 type boards, the ones that take the CT-479 adaptor anywhere here in Australia... :(
Might have to wait for the mysterious 975x chipset mobos for next rig build...
man that board is soo old, yet it still in my opinion, one of the best asus/intel boards ever made.. but of coase i havn't tried the new 775 boards
Perhaps I might just have to hang on to the two that I've got...
Most every 865/875 based board is EOL, whether official or not, so while sad this news should not come as a surprise.
what does EOL stand for?
end of life, aka discontinued
Most definetly, mine was fully volt modded / sinked, very impressive board. Got my SL7KC 3.2e DO up to 4.3ghz benchable (Aircooling). Best 478 board. Period.Quote:

I still have a P4C800 Deluxe and a P4C800E Deluxe.
I think there are still a few lurking around in Hong Kong.
Argh, how the hell can Asus do this!? This will ruin their CT-479 sales heavily.
In holland you can still buy them...

You can still buy them in many places here but they won't be around for long.
Hmm to bad.. does somebody has the official news from asus?
P4C800-E Boards, not the P4P SE.
