I don't really know what you mean. You can do the hardware VDimm Mod only, but then you won't be able to run any Vdimm higher than 3.2V. The hardware Vdimm Mod is just there to give you a more precise way of adjusting Vdimm and to eliminate the cold boot bug. If you want more than 3.2V Vdimm stable then you have to do the 5V Mod.Quote:

I think ill be doing this mod on my board within the next few days.
If I can come up with any improovements or easyer methods ill post them up.
I just need to make a mosfet heatsink plate before I start.
Nice to hear Holst. If you got any better/easier way, be sure to post it here. ;) I would appreciate that. BTW, I don't think that a plate (like the one I made) is really necessary. IMHO, single heatsinks for each Mosfet would be absolutely sufficient. I just made the plate because I had that piece of copper left and thought it could perhaps help. But in the end, these Mosfets are designed to dissipate the heat to the PCB anyway. The heatsinks help, but mine seem to be a bit overkill. :)Quote:
