Just fired a set of the new OCZ Platinum Elite's up in my DFI rig as in my sig. they are a retail packaged set. For starters I set my multiplier down from10 to 9 to see if there is any room over 300htt 1-1. So far at 2.5-3-3-0-1T at 2.8v. No time right now to do extesnive torture testing, but i'll start easing up the HTT and see how far they will clock. here is the starting point below at 300.
Without changing anything else except HTT, 310HTT at 2.5-3-3 failed right away, BUT, 322HTT below is happy at 2.5-4-3 :)
not bad... for just 2.8V...
where did you buy tat from ?
Just lowered to 2.7. Seems more stable actually there, but it's way to early to declare where it's stable yet. too many options and combinations of timings to try.

At 322 I found that 2.7 worked better than 2.8. on other high end TCCD's even top pick 440's, I found that increasing voltage over 2.7-2.8 started throwing errors in memtest. I have seen a few mixed results where you pump some serious volts into some tccd and it might error in memtest but gain a few clocks in windows, but after a whole lot of testing of tccd sticks form many sources, I am of the mind that lower is better. there may be a sweet spot above 300 where some combinations of timings and voltage will allow 2.5-3-3 to hold, but it will take some time to run all of those various combinations and tests, but I think it really behaves better with lower voltage. bios 7/04 -2 was the only bios that let me run 2.5-3-3 over 300mhz and it let me go up to 315 so i recomend that bios to start on a quest for high 2.5-3-3 speed and leave most options on auto like drive controll options and tref 3072 atleast for me

In my personal testing, the -2 series BIOS (510-2 is best IMO) and the yellow slots (much better electrically) are more stable above 300 mhz on the board. This was the only BIOS I could do 313mhz with.Quote:

I have found that memtest86 will run great with my Venice core on the DFI NF4, yet I can't even boot to Windows. I just get a black screen. I use memtest86 form BIOS to insure (maybe) that my OS is safe and then boot and run 32m superpi for a "quick" stabilty test.Quote:

Command rate is set to 1T in bios. I never run at 2T. You are right though, I just noticed that it was turned on in A64 by accident for the 300 shot. The other one shows it disabled. It's has been at 1T ever since. And I could care less about "showing off". I'm just posting some very "non scientific" quick results because people have asked and I happen to have an early set. Can you show us some SPi32M or any other significant stabilty test. We're all here waiting for some DDR600 7-3-3-2.5-1T action. I bet those sticks have enough juice for it... we just really want to see it ;)

And for anyone looking for a line of "Super Ram", I don't think you will ever find it. What this is, is an attempt to get the odds up that your sticks will be decent overclockers in the 300 range. Any top end TCCD will be in this same ballpark. And the question was asked about TCC5, well I had those too and didn't care for them at all. What you guys have to remember, and it has been said over and over again, it's all in the binning process.
