I think the reason we think there is a 4000+ is that based on the 4200/4400 and 4600/4800 combos we assume there is a 3800/4000 combo. There's more reason to have a 4400+ than a 4000+. Higher cache means lower yields, so a 4000+ would be costly. If it's supposed to be a cheaper dual core, it's gonna be hard to make. So while there still is a chance, don't get your hopes up just because a 3800+ is out.
