My 3200+ Week 21 maxed out at 2.6GHZ.
I got mine up to 2.9 at 1.65v
Pokey, how stable was it? 2.9 doesn't help us out much unless you tell us how stable it was. Same for JDizzle i suppose, 2.6 stable or not?
well 2.9 not that stable, but 2.8@1.5v and 2.7@1.45v rock stable 24hrs of Prime on each, 2.9 fails at 1hrQuote:

anymore results (preferably with air)? i have the chance to get a 0521CPMW but one result on water doesn't give me a very good idea of 21s in general...
I see a lot of members with 3000's instead of 3200's, is this because you can just pick one up a little cheaper to play with? Only thing that worries me is the low multi.
there are no physical differences between 3200 and 3000. the only difference is the higher multi option, but most likely you'll be lowering the multi anyway.
I was at my local CUSA trying to run down this FW deal and saw a pair of the 3000+ LBBLE 0521BPPW CPUs. Anyone have this stepping and week?
My 3200+ is stable at 2.6GHZ, my CPU would have to really pathetic to not be able to get 2.6 stable.Quote:

I just purchased an LBBLE 0521APBW (I figure can't go wrong for $115 total).
Anyone with this? Feedback?
I don't have my MB back yet. When I do, I'll post some results... I hope this is not a dog CPU
Looks like a good stepping and code. Nice Price Where are you getting it from?
It was on sale at ewiz.com : http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=A64-3000BP
It's $118.95 now -- seems to change daily.
I got one from E-Wiz on Tuesday that was a week 24. When did you order yours?
I ordered mine on July 10th. Wow. You received a week 24 already. They must be selling pretty well then.
at 115$ i can see why ;)
I think the only probable way to get the vintage week 17 is to check out a bunch of local retailers that DON'T go through large volumes of processors, so smaller places would be better.
May as well add my results, all at stock volts and cooling.
Will update when I get better HSF not going to push more volt with the POS AMD HSF.

Well, everyone's week 21 results gives me some hope for mine :D
Actually, I figure that as long as I can get at least 2.4 Ghz (1:1,1T & decent ram timings) , then the rest is pure gravy
I just build my cousin a 3000+ Venice platform and I couldn't believe how cool it ran. I hooked it up with a stock 3500+ clawhammer cooler and it ran at 34 degrees under full load. I managed to bump it to 2.2 ghz oh air and default voltage, I am sure i could have pushed it more but my cousin got scared and didn't let me do it cause he thought the pc would blow up. The 3000+ Venice is a very nice chip.
Yeah, when I do system builds for others, I tend not to OC it (usually just tweak the RAM and optimize the system best I can). Depending on who it's for that is ;) If they have some knowledge on what's going on, I'll bump up the frequency to a safe level. And looks like 2.2 should be safe in this case.
I was scared at one point when I turned on the PC and the CPU fan was not on, so I shut it down and turned it on again and the same thing happened and it would only turn on again after windows was loaded. It was in fact the Qfan option from his Asus mobo that was controlling the fan, which once windows was booted and all applications running, the CPU fan would still only work at 900rpm with 34 degrees idle :D
Are we going to open ever week a new thread? Why can't we just post in the Venice steppings topic?
maybe because it's not updated, and full to the brim of useless off topic post like yours.Quote:
