easy/cheap way to increase ati 9500-9800 core overclock

I have some ati 9700 video for my 2nd rig and I decided to change default video cooler. Basically I took an old socket 370/A Titan cooler and bought Super Glue. I applied SG as shown in the following picture (superglue is marked in pink color):

Then applied some thermal grease and attached the cooler:

The fan connector went to my NF3 board and I even had a chance to control the fan speed :D

Default cooler max. stable core 325
Titan cooler max. stable core 370

yea that would be my only worry as well, nice project there even if superglue isnt the most permanent solution, what are temps like?

Yep, that is the biggest disadvantage, 2 PCI slots wasted :(
but NF3 has 5 slots and I have 1 soundcard, so 2 slots left lol.

Haven't measured temps but the heatsink is pretty cool when I touch it during 3dmark test :D

wont superglue eventually crack and fall away at high temps?

Actually it depends on Super Glue used. I think most of them should have no problem with temps up to at least 100C.
You could also use AS thermal adhesive. It has a temperature range of - 40C to >150C
