My "sig"
In the sig...
sig below
3.2 EE Socket 478 @ 3.73 GHz - 1.7v - water cooled - 36hrs dual prime stable
Abit AI7
Mushkin 3500 LvII BH-5 @ 233 MHz - 3.2v - 2225 F1
Can go higher, but I feel my Abit AI7 is not upto it, PWM will go over 100c, sooner or later can expect a reboot.
Can post @ 3.95 GHz into bios, memtest will lock up (even with 5:4).
Loads into windows at 3.9 GHz+, but add any load, reboot occurs.
Settled for 3.6 GHz @ 1.575v, the PWM is 70-80 dual prime. I think the power circuitry of the AI7 is keeping me from a stable higher overclock?
Either that, or I got a dud :(
Sig bellow , but i am looking to move forward and with water i got 3.9GHz , but here in Miami is so hot so , i believe is OK ...
is that really 1.95v ??? :eek:Quote:

1.95v is way too xtreme for a P4EE! Especially at that speed. Look in my sig for my 3.4EE o/c.

What's the Vcore?
Thanks
nice overclocks guys. cant wait to see some 840XE's when they come out in here! keep em coming!
btw, FUGGER dont you have a 840EE? if you do, please post your OC results here! man that would be cool to have a Phase change on a 840EE. talk about powerhouse!
Not stable for longer than 24 hours, at 1.7v (yes, I am risking the chip, but it's necessary to keep this speed stable).
made this a sticky :)
thank you saaya :)Quote:

Nice idea Ingent, coming together of all the EE owners is a meeting of powerhouses indeed...now if we can only get you to decide on one avatar, maybe you'd fit right in :D lol
Good stuff...while the rest of us :slobber: on those EE Scores. Nice
Perkam
lol perk, i like switch avatars every 2 weeks or so. and thanks for my EE thread idea.
Ummm...I posted that link for you two posts ago ;) lolQuote:

Stable?
56hrs, thats over 2 days of dual prime95.
3600 MHz - 1.575v - 1:1 - 2225 F1 E
During prime, looped 3d marks and other 3d apps for many hours on end, played games, did work, Super PI 32mb. Internet Explorer did not crash on me once, during all this time.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why I can get into windows at 3.95 GHz at ultra high voltage. Then I run 3.73 GHz at 1.7v for 36 hours, and IE will crash, later a reboot occured.
Maybe 3.6 GHz is all my chip has, or maybe my motherboard is holding be back from atleast 3.8 GHz?

yeah, i used to have a 3.2EE. they dident OC very well :(.
Im using a Corsair COOL water cooling, basically the same as the swiftech package I think, very simular.

Nothing amasing, but its is a decent cooler never the less. When I add alot of voltage, the temps don't go up by much.
Oh yeah, Before I primed for 56 hours, I disconnected the fan, to see when it will lock up. Temp slowly climbed to 60c, then in about 15min at 60c it hard locked.
Otherwise its never goes over 50c at full prime load, even if my room temp is 30c thats measured using Abit's uguru monitor.
What is the best voltage guys , for me , i am chiling the CPU with Waterchill and i keep de CPU @ 3.9GHz? i am trying diferent voltages between 1.55 and 1.65 but i am not sure what stop me to make 100% stable @ 4GHZ may be my memory is too bad...
