Time to bump the thread.
A few of us have a competition running in the x600xt category, and some help for Vmods would be greatly appretiated!
If no-one can find any I guess I'll have to try my best to locate it meself :)
If you can give us the pics then we can work it out.
Chances are it will be similar to another card of the same generation.
Bump and just did some searching I am not sure if the pics need to be closer or not.

If others needed I'll try to snap some tomorrow night. :)
Here is my card. Its a refference BBA card so the layout should be defacto the same on most cards. If you want a more detailed picture please send me a PM, we are currently at least 3 people who would like the mods :)

Note the National Geographic, that was an excellent issue :D
Can you tell me what is written on the chips I have circled please.
ISL6522CB
P349BLZ
All are the same ;)
Can you check the voltages at pin 8 on each of the ISL6522's, as I've marked in this picture.
Yeah, I will do so - I need to get a finer tip though, the one I was using was too big I think.
Any updates on these vmods I could sure use em =)
(from the other X600 modding thread)
The 1.07v looks like Vgpu, the 2.62v is probably the Vdd and 2.26v is Vddq.Quote:

now, new values, multimeter battery was allmost dead, 9v to 7,5v
left corner - 2,62v & 1,78kohm
up right - 2,79v & 60,2ohm
down right - 1,26v & 3,4ohm
Were those resistances taken between the pin I marked in the first post (one of the outside pins), or were they taken from the pin I marked today? Some of the readings look a bit low to me.Quote:

Sorry, I forgot to attatch the picture :stick:
I've attatched the correct picture now :)
what i measure, resistance ?
Yes, check the resistance. Can you see the points that I marked ok? It should be pin 5 that I marked.
all are pin 5 ok ?
yea, all are pin 5 :)Quote:

+- 0,01
Those values are more like what I was expecting :)
For all of the mods, try putting a 100k VR between pin 5 and ground.
Note: XS owners and members will not be liable for any damage caused to you or your hardware, neither can be liable for any breach of the warranty.
hmm, if i want gpu mod then i but between 1,26v and ground ?
what is vr, some sort of resistor, sorry, im dumb.
VR=variable resistor :)Quote:
