i know the question is somewhere here on the board but i cant find it.
i want to ask that you can use a inox flexible hose that they use in bathrooms,
can be used for suctionline on a direct die installation.
it can handle 10bar but my question is can it handle the pressure when pulling a deep vacuum.

i wouldn't use one of those. Find out what the lining inside the stainless steel braid is made of. i would steer well clear :mad:
i think it was fully inox.
its like a vibrationmufler on a coolinginstallation(dunno whats the correct name)
I think these are made of rubber below the braid, otherwise the would be very cheap :eek:

The permability of the material will determine wether you are building a sprinkler system or not. just because they hold water does not mean they will hold refrigerant. Also the wrong material will loose flexability when cold and crack. walt
you have a point there,
it looks like a teflon hose with stanless braid. Find one that is corrugated ss with ss braid. Those teflon ones leak. Get a hydraulics parts place to assemble you one, their usualyl pretty cheap too and laugh when they need to hold 400psi, the stuff they do is rated for thousands.

hold 1000psi working pressure? I'm sure thats no problem but no system should operate at those pressures in this field of phase-change anyway.Quote:
